Stablecoins haven't been very stable.
UST (Luna) evaporated in May 2022.
USDC (Circle) depegged in March 2023, it continues to see major outflows. Now surpassing 10 billion. As it was caught up in the Silicon Valley Bank collapse.
BUSD (Binance) sees major outflows due to it's issuer Paxos halting issuance following SEC investigation in Feb 2023. This has further accelerated due to the CFTC lawsuit in March 2023.
Tether (iFinex) meanwhile has seen it's dominance increase. It now represents 60% of the stablecoin market. This is concerning given the history of Tethers shady dealings to date.
Tether was sued by the New York Attorney general in 2019 with a settlement reached in 2021. They found Tether and Bitfinex covered up a major losses, weren't backed at a point and misled customers. They are required to release attestations on an ongoing basis for two years.
The CFTC sued Tether for 42.5 million in October 2021 for the same issue.
Tether is currently battling a similar civil lawsuit this time by investors. It has been ongoing since 2019 and is centered around it's reserves actually having full backing.
Tether recently lost a court case in trying to prevent it's release of its reserves backing information to CoinDesk the news company. So we will potentially see explosive articles detailing what is actually backing the Tethers...at least up to 2021.
Even at cursory checks on the information Tether puts out about it's reserves seems to be inaccurate.
The US Department of Justice is also carrying out a bank fraud investigation on Tether.
So be careful, Tether has a history of been shady and now with it's reserve information soon to be obtained that could be definitely proven. As we've seen now this type of event can lead to a depeg.
TDLR: Tether is shady, with a high potential of bad news leading to an unpeg event.

In 2022, there were 335,957 federal public servants — an increase of 30.7 per cent compared to seven years before.
Canada's population, meanwhile, grew by about 8.5 per cent in the same time period.
That means the federal public service's employment growth rate is three times greater than the population growth rate.

My goal is to end up with a df that looks like this. constant_expiry_30 is an interpolation of the CloseOrSettle value of the two Expiry Dates closest to Trade Date.

I'm a freshman and over the past 2 semesters, I've noticed ed that I don't really seem to fit in with the people around me.
Many people in engineering already seem to have a knack for designing and building things. I've taken EGS and EGN1007 in Fall and Spring and joined AIAA for Rocket League, but even though I have gotten good grades, I'm not passionate about this. I'm not really interested in all the software stuff and learning coding and robotic things, I just find it very boring. Where my project teammates are spending hours upon hours on their designs, I'm just serving as the errand guy.
I know I have to make a decision soon before I waste my time even more. I was wondering if yall could give me some signs I'm not or am built for this, or how the profession/career is going to be like. I'm really doubtful about continuing engineering.

Just started learning python at school this year. Have to make a text-based python game. I've been stuck on this problem for around 3 hours now. Due on Wednesday, I had a month to do this. Hate myself.

Payment proof

In June 2022, I attended a voluntary interview about a mal comms case. One of the accounts, I was hacked but my IP address was discovered to my address. I was RUI'd. I last heard from my solicitor in October, and he said the superior was looking to go for NFA, as I have proof I wasn't at home that day (train ticket, receipt from a shop and cafe) the message was sent. Furthermore, this case has been discussed openly on a social media platform with a friend of this person mentioning the case about the possible criminal charges and whom the account belonged too. Throw in, she gave information to a troll account on social media which this person revealed my real name, home address and Facebook account. This person made lies about me saying I slandered most people in my town (how, I don't know everyone!) and that I'm unhinged. I reported both the troll account and this account, but it wasn't removed (sod you Elon Musk!), then deleted my own account due to the bullying.
Is it likely to be case closed with no notification? I do know the officer did look pregnant whom interviewed me, but surely someone else would take over? Perhaps that evidence was enough? It just seems a bit of a mystery. Also the doxxing / false info - do I have a case?
