2023.06.03 10:47 CapConsistent1551 Where Can I use my German prescription

I am from Germany and I am on vacation here in Malaga. I need a special prescription medicine for which I have a valid German prescription. My Doctor told me I would have no trouble using the prescription in Spain because all prescriptions are valid EU wide. Still I went to 3 or 4 pharmacies ans they all wouldn’t accept my prescription because it was German. Im just very upset because it is the law and I also need the medication. One told me I should go to a spanish doctor and exchange the prescription but appointments here are costly and I also don’t want to spend my day in a doctors office. Does anyone have any advice or knows a pharmacy that will accept my prescription?

2023.06.03 10:32 burningexeter [Word Of God] According to director Chris Columbus, he personally sees Home Alone 1 & 2, Mrs. Doubtfire and the Harry Potter films all take place in the same universe.

It's just simply a director's own headcanon a la Quentin Tarantino or even Jar Jar Abrams but with that said, to say it's interesting would be.... an understatement. Let me share this in way more detail from what I gathered and share your thoughts on this:
In a late 2020 interview Columbus was doing for Christmas Chronicles 2 (IGN, Collider or Screen Rant), he later revealed that due to an obvious Home Alone easter egg in it, it got him thinking and now - somewhat taking influence from John Hughes' Shermerverse that he revealed in 1997 - he likes to think or rather considers that aforementioned above.... Home Alone and its sequel Lost In New York, Mrs. Doubtfire and all eight of the Harry Potter films take place in the same shared universe and he explains it like this —
The first is obvious that they all take place in different parts of the world with Home Alone in Chicago, Mrs. Doubtfire in San Francisco and Harry Potter in England.
However the rest is a bit more complex than that.
He sees them connected for not only do a lot of the earlier ones share the same almost-similar visual aesthetics but they all have very large focus on unconventional protagonists in danger of losing the ones they love and care for who are just as unconventional as they are, said protagonists are "little fish in big ponds" as the world around them is larger than they are, they also have focus on conflicting kid and adult perspectives culminating in their own different and distinctive ways.
Columbus even came up with a few character connections that ultimately set things into motion or rather just add more to the individual movies. Which are....
A lot of specific characters happened to go to the same high school as each other growing up and even then had their own characteristics for either better or worse.
Daniel Hillard, his brother Frank and the latter's pal Jack were the energetic but surprisingly charismatic class clowns who were favorites of the teachers with Daniel discovering around this time that he had a natural talent for doing voices.
Kate Winslow (later McCallister) and Miranda Kring (later Hillard) were fierce high school rivals who couldn't stand each other even though - and this was obvious to everyone even the dumbest student - they had a lot in common especially in their personalities.
One thing that all of the characters (even ones you wouldn't expect) definitely had in common with each other is every one of them HATED school bully Frank McCallister who was rude, disrespectful, abrasive and quick tempered to everyone and got into his fair share of physical altercations and trouble and top of that, everyone also hated his younger brother Peter McCallister as they all thought he was an enabler of his brother's behavior and was easily manipulated plenty of times and took the wrong side. Daniel especially couldn't stand either of them and once got into a shoving fight with Peter who told him angrily that he'd never get anywhere doing stupid voices while the former rebuffed with "Yeah well you sure as hell wouldn't make for father of the year".
That all said, there is one interesting thing or connection with all of this is one in particular - see there was a very shy and timid booksmart girl named Lucy Bluth who befriended a foreign exchange student named Neill Granger from London. The two had a strong and loyal friendship that eventually became love as they realized their feelings for each other as young adults, so much that when Neill had to move back to Britain - Lucy went along right with him. The two of them obviously married and later on had a daughter named Hermonine. Emma Watson as Hermonine to be specific.
Finally, when asked jokingly if Pixels was part of this universe by the interviewer - Chris replied with "Highly unlikely. Very unlikely. Definitely unlikely".

2023.06.03 10:19 mikelmon99 How wealthy is the average person in Bangkok?

So I recently started watching BLs, and I was surprised to see how wealthy the setting of these shows looks, since I knew beforehand that in terms of GDP per capita Thailand is actually on par with China & Mexico.
Then I looked up what the GDP per capita in Bangkok is & I was like "wow, ok, now that makes sense", since it turns out that Bangkok's GDP per capita is at around 65.000 dollars, much higher than my own wealthy, highly developed, Western European home country Spain's GDP per capita, which is at around 49.000 dollars (granted, we have the second lowest GDP per capita in Western Europe after our neighbouring country Portugal, but still), and on par with some of the wealthiest countries in Western Europe such as Belgium & Sweden, whose GDPs per capita are also at around 65.000 dollars.
So is the average person in Bangkok as wealthy as they're depicted in BLs, like, as wealthy as the average person in countries such as Belgium & Sweden, as Bangkok's GDP per capita also indicates, or is the truth actually uglier than these TV series & these figures show?
I'm also curious about this vast difference in terms of GDP per capita between Bangkok & the provinces that surround it on the one hand & the rest of the country's provinces on the other. Here in Spain we're always bemoaning how unfair it is that Madrid is much wealthier than the rest of the country, but Thailand truly takes this wealth disparity between the capital & the rest of the country to a whole other level than we do.
Also, here in Spain, in political terms, what this disparaty is translated into is in Madrid being the main stronghold of the conservative, monarchist right in the country, since Madrilenians clearly benefit from the privileges that our unfair economic system affords them & they vote accordingly, whereas in Thailand from what I see it's the exact opposite: in your recent election the left swept through Bangkok with an astounding victory, taking all 65 seats except for 6, whereas in the rest of the country the results were far worse for the left, which I also find interesting.

2023.06.03 10:15 suckalec Am I the asshole for moving away?

So quick disclaimer, i have autism so I'm sorry if this is all jumbled. But I wanna start with some background.
I'm zyreon (not my real name) I'm genderfluid and pansexual. I'm 17. There's.. a lot to unpack and again I'm sorry if it makes no sense but bare with me.
I have 4 siblings (in this order) L (31 f) C(30 f) w(21 m) m (21 m) my father isn't in the picture but mu mother J (f 50) is. With this knowledge let me ask the question and begin with my story.
I [17 f] just got settled info my new place. I ran away. Just packed up. Got on a train then 2 planes and left..no..I didn't run away cause "mummy said no"..
Honestly idk where to start. My dad left when I was 6 weeks old. I never knew him, but my sisters did. They hate him for good reason. I like to say my brother W turned out like him... at 12 maybe 13...he had...decided that he wanted to see what his sexuality was..he...yose me for that...he was helping me move into my new room..and we had just finished the bed..I was tired from staying up the night before and asked him to leave so I could nap...I layed down and closed my eyes...not even 5 minutes later I felt him..I felt his hands undress me...and..roam my body...I felt him..slip inside me..I just..layed frozen..when I felt him get off me and sir at the end of the bed I got up and just...stared at him...I remember what he said.."put your cloths on." Without a bit of guilt for what he did..so I did..I got dressed then when my mother had returned home I ran to her...in tears and told her what he had did...she...told him if he was to do it again she's take him to the cops..later the same day...she left us alone again..I was on the couch..he sat next to me..and..put his hand on my thigh..moving it up...I got up and ran to my neighbours telling them everything..they called mu mum...I got in trouble...no one...believed me..after that..I was so scared of him..he would..tell me to...erase myself from existence (I'm sure you know what I mean)...when I started..self harming at 14...he told me to do it deeper...to go...straight up the vein...my family turned a blind eye to all of it..I was called an attention seeker...and...it broke me..for years I hated myself..I was in and out of hospitals for multiple failed attempts..in..2021 my mother went to jail for selling drugs...so I..moved in with C and W...I.. was forced to share a room with him for a while..till I ran away...I posted here during that..but..I ended up going back...she promised it'd be better...I got my own room but..C was...emotionally abusive...if I ate too much one day "God your gonna eat THAT? You just ate." "Your gonna be the size of a house" and a lot more...way more demeaning stuff...she often let her son call me fat and a sped (I'm autistic, have adhd, diagnosed anxiety and depression) I take meds for them..my mum didn't even try to help while she was away...she got out this year...and she made me realise everything about my childhood was pure lies...our "family vacations to see Grandma and grandad in tasmania" was so she could get clean from the drugs and so her mother could pay her debts. Every school trip I missed out on..every..thing I got excluded from wasn't cause she couldn't afford it..it was cause she..wanted drugs..i remember when I was about 11 maybe 12 I had..lost a dear friend to...his own depression...I found out on Christmas day...I told her needing my mother's support..."stop fucking crying you didn't even know him in person ffs." Was what I got...I couldn't take it anymore...its all piled up there's so much more..so so much more..but..let's get to why I need to ask..
On the 1st of June I got on a train..and on the 2nd of June I got on a plane and landed in Sydney.. where I now am living...my family are blowing up my phone..I let my mother know why I left and that I won't be coming back..I've heard from a few that ir was an asshole move to leave but my close friends are saying that it needed to be done so I was safe..so..
Am I the asshole for leaving and moving to another state?

2023.06.03 10:08 Lulumaegolightly Seeing my dad/stepmom at family events once a year is stressful and I wish it didn’t bother me. - Really this is just a vent to get feelings out but would really appreciate input.

I [36F] really don’t know how things got as bad as they are but I basically never speak to my dad [63] or my stepmom/their kids and I don’t want to. Background: I never lived with my dad, only ever lived with my mom and paternal grandma/grandpa. Our relationship was always strained in my opinion. He was stern and quiet and I couldn’t tell when he was mad. He wasn’t affectionate really. He never said much unless he was voicing his opinion or criticizing something. Kind of like walking on eggshells for me once I wasn’t a fun little kid anymore. I was welcoming of stepmom dating my dad when I was a teen, but by the time I was an adult I just wanted to try having a meaningful relationship with him first, before her. I tried letting him know but it never went anywhere. He never met me in the middle. I think I should make it known that I don’t want to see them at family events anymore, for my own mental health. But it just isn’t that easy.
I’ve spent lots of time feeling guilty for where our relationship stands but keep reminding myself of why I feel the way I do; that I was a somewhat neglected child/teen and that they were the adults during important developmental years of my life and did an exceptionally poor job helping me navigate life. I guess I was a highly sensitive child and still can be a sensitive adult, and I’ve learned to mask it all too well. I don’t have much memory of my childhood and I think I had so much anxiety that I was not fully present in my body. Once I was an adult I became more aware of my feelings and how much I was stuffing them down probably because I was always told to quit crying and being a baby. Even as an adult he told me to suck it up when I was crying from a serious break up. I guess my feelings and emotional well-being were and have been ignored. I also think my father would deny my reality a lot when I was little. I remember hearing “that didn’t happen” or “I didn’t say that” often. It’s hard for me to tell if he was gaslighting me and possibly a narcissist. My dad was basically a big bully.. he’d give kids in our family nicknames and they weren’t always nice. He called my chubby little cousin doughnut boy. He’d laugh at kids all the time, out loud, right in front of their face. He didn’t believe 3rd grade me when I said I had broken my arm while he was literally there and saw me fall. Two days later I was finally in a cast.
As a 20 something I found out from my stepmom that I was still on my dad’s health insurance, right at the time I would no longer be eligible to be on it- after thinking I had no way to get basic medical treatment for years. Never got my SAT Scores or senior photos done because they kept saying they’d help me do it and never did. She was photographer, jfc. She’s so vain and her body issues were projected on me. When my grandpa died my step mom called to break the news… I was not close with her then or ever really. Why should she be the one to call and break the news the first time I experienced the death of a loved one? If I ever tried calling for my dad, I couldnt even talk to him without going through her first. When I was about 20 she called me a spoiled brat after not getting her way with me and my dad was there to take her side. She’s always sticking her nose in every one else’s business and caused an even further rift between me and my dad when she stirred up drama between my mom and my dad that would have been non existent if not for her planting a lie. It was kind of traumatic for me and happened on Christmas of all days.
Either way, I hate seeing them at family events and never know when they are going to be there so I have a lot of anxiety about family gatherings that should be a good time. Any time they aren’t there I enjoy seeing and spending time with everyone. I think I need to voice how I feel for my own peace of mind but I just know they won’t understand my point of view, they never have. And there is just too much to be said..
For years our relationship was just awkward talk-about-the-weather type of surface level convo on holidays and last year when he gave me a shoulder to the chest during a goodbye hug, I said to hell with it. Why am I even trying to be cordial at this point? Now I have other family members butting in. I almost want to send a group text message saying that I’d prefer to be notified when they are coming but that is just too much to ask in my opinion. Family can’t really control when family decides to show up to a gathering everyone knows about.
I need to find a way to move on with my life and stop living in my trauma. If you read for this long, thank you 💕

2023.06.03 09:46 EstablishmentThat142 The Shopify PROFIT MACHINE Checklist. (Website Optimisation, Advertising Hacks + MORE)

After years of managing my own e-commerce marketing firm I’ve learnt a thing or two. Here’s the some of the “industry secrets.”

Online Store Optimisation

First impressions count. Your audience is your date. Your store is your face. You want it looking good.

Pavlov Effect

Coca Cola is incredibly unhealthy, but for some reason we still drink it. This is due to the fact we associate it with the Olympics, Christmas and much more. Nike is the same, just a regular sportswear brand, but if it wasn’t for Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Roger Federer it wouldn’t be the brand it is today. There’s a reason this works, and you can use it too.
In marketing, the Pavlov effect refers to the association of a conditioned stimulus (CS) with an unconditioned stimulus (US) to elicit a specific response. The CS can be a brand logo, jingle, color, or any other sensory cue, while the US is something that naturally triggers a response, such as a positive experience or emotion.
The goal of utilizing the Pavlov effect in marketing is to create positive associations and trigger desired responses in consumers. Here are a few examples of how it can be applied:
It's important to note that ethical considerations should be taken into account when utilizing the Pavlov effect in marketing. Transparency and authenticity are crucial to maintain trust with consumers and ensure that the associations created are positive and aligned with the brand's values.
Overall, the Pavlov effect in marketing involves creating associations between stimuli and desired responses to influence consumer behavior and build brand recognition and loyalty.

Social Proof & Authority

Social proof in marketing refers to the psychological phenomenon where people look to others' actions or opinions to determine their own behavior. It is a powerful tool that leverages the influence of social validation to persuade potential customers.
Here are some common examples of social proof in marketing:
Remember, the effectiveness of social proof can vary depending on the target audience and the context in which it is presented.

Generating Scarcity

Generating scarcity in marketing involves creating a sense of limited availability or urgency to encourage customers to take action quickly. By making customers perceive that a product or offer is scarce or time-limited, businesses can increase the desire to purchase and reduce the chances of procrastination or missed opportunities. Here are a few strategies to generate scarcity:
Remember to use scarcity ethically and transparently. Customers should feel a genuine sense of urgency and benefit from the limited availability or time frame. Misusing or overusing scarcity tactics may lead to a loss of trust and credibility.

Advertising Strategies

For the average drop shipper, money is a problem. Therefore we must come up with creative ways to compete against market leaders with exceptionally higher budgets.

Final Points

Ornamental/possible jewelry pin from somewhere in Asia…first off: what is the language and what does it translate to?
Going through my (recently passed paternal) late aunt’s jewelry box, and I suspect my paternal grandfather brought this back some 55-65 years ago, from his time as a Marine master sergeant (he served in the Korean War, then was stationed in Okinawa, then serving in the Vietnam War, ultimately). So my main challenge is trying to determine what the language on the sticker is, and of course what it says/indicates.

2023.06.03 09:40 MarcoServetto Successful high profile assassinations in the early 2000s

This is my first alternative history work, please tolerate my inexperience. I'm open to all kinds of feedbacks
In the final hours of 1999, on the brink of a new millennium, a shocking event sets the stage for a radically different future. Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft, and the richest man in the world, is found dead at his sprawling estate in Medina, Washington. The man behind this unthinkable act is his trusted butler who, in an apparent murder-suicide, leaves behind a chilling message: "Repent and donate all that you own, or die in shame. We are the unseen, the unheard, the forgotten. We will not be silenced." The public reels from the shock, and the police scramble to uncover the anarchists' network. But their efforts yield no results. The identity and motives of this anarchist group remain a mystery.

Microsoft, under the leadership of Steve Ballmer, pledges to carry on Gates' legacy and forges ahead, despite a temporary slump in the market. The company reaffirms its commitment to its products and customers. This move stabilizes Microsoft but inadvertently gives a boost to open source platforms and Linux, as some companies and governments, fearing an over-reliance on one company's technology, promote open-source solutions to diversify their options.

In 2000, the world is held in the grip of fear. The secret anarchist group responsible for Gates' death remains elusive, as law enforcement agencies worldwide scramble to unmask them. Heightened security measures are put into place, especially for high-net-worth individuals. Global discourse around wealth inequality and the responsibilities of the wealthy intensifies.

The September 11th attacks occur as they did in our timeline, causing a further global shift towards security and surveillance. The focus on the anarchist group temporarily fades in the wake of this massive terrorist act.

In 2004, another seismic event rocks the world. Warren Buffett, the investment guru, and the second richest man globally, dies in a horrific car crash. The culprit is none other than his personal driver, who planned the crash to end both their lives. The message left behind echoes the sentiment of the first: "Wealth is not a shield. Charity is not a facade. Share or perish." The untraceable nature of these attacks and the cryptic, threatening messages underline the deadly intent of this anarchist group.

In response to these assassinations, several of the world's billionaires, led by tech tycoons Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Larry Ellison, Michael Bloomberg and Carlos Slim form the Global Equity Foundation. They pledge to donate a significant portion of their wealth to combat global poverty and inequality. This massive philanthropic endeavor is geared towards global health and education initiatives. Yet, it seems more like a desperate act of self-preservation than genuine philanthropy.

Simultaneously, a group of ultra-wealthy individuals, led by Richard Branson, take a different approach. They purchase Necker Island, an island in the Caribbean, establishing an independent micro-nation free from the political complexities of their home countries. The island, referred to as "Eden," is fortified with state-of-the-art security systems designed to protect them from the anarchists.
This safe haven, populated by some of the wealthiest people on the planet, offers refuge from the growing threat of the anarchists.

By the end of 2006, society is gripped with a sense of unease. The line between the wealthy and the less fortunate has become a tense battleground. The world waits with bated breath for the anarchists' next move.

In the first week of 2007,Necker Island, owned by Richard Branson in our timeline - is struck by a missile, obliterating everything and everyone on it. The world mourns the loss of several leading business figures and philanthropists. Initial suspicions fall on the anarchist group that killed Gates and Buffet.

As investigators sift through the wreckage, information leaks revealing the true culprits: a secret Russian military unit aiming to destabilize the US economy. The revelation sends shockwaves across the globe, stoking old Cold War fears and bringing the world to the brink of war. The US, under President George W. Bush, declares war on Russia, and the world watches in apprehension as military mobilizations begin for what looks to be the third World War.

Before any attacks are launched, news breaks out of Russia that President Vladimir Putin and three influential Russian oligarchs have been assassinated. Prostitutes, apparently planted by the anarchist group, are identified as the killers. Security guards kill them almost immediately after the assassinations.

In a cryptic message, the anarchists chastise the world powers for accelerating their plans, reasserting control over the narrative and reminding the world of their pervasive influence.
"Do not confuse our roles. We kill, you die. Do not hurry us up. Wait and your turn will come". Another part of the message states
"We do not wish for war, only justice. The innocents of Eden serving the rich were not our targets, but casualties of your greed. We are sorry for their loss, but this is but a dip in the ocean of the damage you are causing."
The message also includes a litany of detailed accusations against prominent global figures, exposing a wealth of crimes and unethical behaviors that were previously hidden or ignored. Among the accused is Silvio Berlusconi, the Italian prime minister, whose alleged misdeeds are laid bare for the world to see.

As 2007 progresses, the world is left in a state of uncertainty and fear. The anarchists seem to be everywhere and nowhere, with the power to target anyone. The impending war is temporarily halted as the world grapples with the revelations from the anarchists' message and the power vacuum in Russia. With the threat of the anarchists hanging over their heads, the powerful and wealthy are forced to reconsider their actions, while the less fortunate find a grim sense of satisfaction in their comeuppance.

But the world doesn't remain a silent observer. As news of the assassinations and the extravagant actions of the rich spread, public sentiment starts to shift. There's a growing call for justice, transparency, and equity. Movements demanding wealth redistribution gain traction, the loudest among them being Italy's Five Star Movement. With the charismatic comedian Beppe Grillo at its helm, the movement benefits immensely from the public outrage against the wealthy, especially following the revelations about Silvio Berlusconi's illicit activities.

In 2008, media tycoon Rupert Murdoch is poisoned, his death leaving a power vacuum in the media industry. The anarchists, in their now customary fashion, claim responsibility for the assassination in a chilling message. They condemn Murdoch's media empire as a tool of manipulation and inequality, and demand that his wealth be donated to nature reserves in Africa and non-profit organizations fighting against illegal and harmful fishing practices in South America. Such wealth is so tainted, they argue, that it should no longer be used to benefit humanity.

The anarchists' message also takes aim at the Global Equity Foundation, the massive philanthropic endeavor established by some of the world's wealthiest individuals. The message accuses several members of the Foundation of continuing to amass wealth instead of fully committing to philanthropy. This marks a clear warning to the global elite - no one is safe, and insincere philanthropy will not protect them.

This alternate timeline presents a world in turmoil. The ultra-rich are no longer invincible, and society begins to question the long-accepted power structures. The narrative also sparks a profound cultural shift. Discussions about wealth inequality, power, and justice dominate public discourse. As the world grapples with the radical changes and anticipates the anarchists' next move, an unsettling question looms large - who's next on the anarchists' list?

In Japan, there is a cultural emphasis on harmony and group success over individual prosperity. While wealth is certainly respected, overt displays of wealth are often frowned upon. In this alternate timeline, Japanese society might view the chaos unfolding in the West with a mix of trepidation and schadenfreude. The government might enforce stricter financial regulations to avoid a similar crisis domestically.

With one of the fastest-growing economies and a huge wealth disparity, India's reaction would be mixed. India's rising tech billionaires and traditional wealthy class might feel threatened and take drastic measures for their safety. Meanwhile, the masses grappling with poverty might feel vindicated and empowered by the anarchists' message.

With its wealth stemming mainly from royal family members and oil magnates, Saudi Arabia reaction would be quite different. The royal family might further consolidate their power and use the ongoing global chaos as a reason to suppress dissent. There could be increased unrest among the populace, and movements for democracy and wealth redistribution might gain momentum.

Scandinavian Countries are known for their strong welfare states and relative income equality. They might respond to these events by further emphasizing their commitment to egalitarian principles, possibly leading to increased taxes on the wealthy and more support for public services. The public discourse might focus on the ethics of wealth accumulation and the responsibilities of the wealthy to society.

With its stark wealth inequality and history of social unrest, Brazil's reaction could be volatile. There could be increased protests and movements calling for wealth redistribution and social reform. At the same time, the wealthy class might double down on their efforts to maintain their power and wealth, leading to greater societal tension.

The years following the assassination of Rupert Murdoch see a sharp turn towards radical socio-political change.
Italy, under the leadership of comedian-turned-activist Beppe Grillo and his Five Star Movement, introduces a novel form of governance, deemed as the 'Economic Equity Referendum.'
This new system allows Italian citizens to vote annually on the forced appropriation of assets belonging to five selected wealthy individuals.
Moreover, citizens are allowed to nominate five additional individuals, with the most nominated names appearing in the following year's referendum.
The move is controversial but reflects the significant shift in public sentiment against extreme wealth accumulation, catalyzed by the anarchist group's actions.

By 2009, Spain, still recovering from the global financial crisis and inspired by Italy's novel approach, decides to implement a similar system. Spain's version of the 'Economic Equity Referendum' aims to redistribute wealth, hoping to bolster its struggling economy.

However, these new policies are met with mixed reactions on the global stage. Some praise these actions as a progressive move towards economic justice, while others view them as an infringement on personal property rights, sparking fierce debates on wealth distribution, economic justice, and individual liberties.

By 2010, the economic landscape has significantly changed. Wealthy individuals and corporations are increasingly cautious, devising new strategies to safeguard their wealth or diverting their investments to countries with more favorable policies. Some begin extensive philanthropic efforts to win public favor, hoping to avoid becoming targets of the economic referendums or worse, the anarchists.

Despite no further assassinations, the fear instilled by the anarchist group still lingers. This, coupled with the disruptive socio-economic changes, fuels widespread uncertainty and tension. Meanwhile, ordinary citizens grapple with these new realities, some welcoming the disruption to the status quo, while others yearn for the stability of the past.

Across the globe, nations observe Italy and Spain's experiments, grappling with the rising demands for wealth equality from their citizens. The actions of the anarchist group and the drastic measures taken by Italy and Spain have set the stage for an era of unprecedented change. The world enters the new decade with apprehension, knowing that the struggle between wealth, power, and justice is far from over.

In 2011, an unimaginable twist in takes place. An international investigation finally uncovers the truth behind the string of high-profile assassinations that have been hitting the globe: all of it was a plot orchestrated by none other than Bill Gates and Vladimir Putin. It's an outrageous revelation that sends shockwaves through the world.

Documents, videos, and testimonies are unearthed, providing irrefutable proof of their involvement. It emerges that Gates and Putin, recognizing the vast inequities and imbalances in the world, believed that a revolution was necessary for true change. But they knew that the world's wealthy and powerful elites would quash any such attempt and simply kill them if they were to seriusly try. Thus, they devised a scheme to subvert the established order.

From 1990 to 1999, they secretly funneled resources into creating and training a clandestine group of individuals. The duo meticulously planned each assassination, devising the perfect circumstances, recruiting the needed personnel, even penning the anarchic messages themselves. They even managed to convince Murdoch's cook and Buffett's driver to join their cause. In essence, Gates and Putin willingly orchestrated their own deaths to catalyze a global transformation.

The discovery of the secret hideouts and the apprehension of several group members corroborate this stunning revelation. The anarchists were, in reality, pawns in a grand design concocted by Gates and Putin.

The revelation sparks a global uproar. Public opinion is polarized. Some view Gates and Putin as martyrs who sacrificed themselves for a noble cause. Others see them as manipulative puppet masters who plunged the world into chaos to fulfill their vision. In either case, the world is left to grapple with the consequences of their actions.

As the shocking news spreads, nations across the globe face a common question: how to move forward in the wake of this revelation? The chaos initiated by Gates and Putin has already triggered a cascade of socio-economic transformations. Now, it's up to the world to decide whether to carry forward this radical change or attempt to restore the old order. But one thing is clear: the world as we know it will never be the same again.
User

The years following the revelation of Gates and Putin's orchestrated upheaval unravel a tapestry of international responses, further accentuating the economic, social, and political diversities worldwide.

In the United States, the shockwave from the revelation instigates an intense national debate on wealth and power dynamics. The US sees a surge in progressive movements pushing for economic justice and wealth redistribution. A strong response from the wealthier class culminates in an aggressive lobby for protection of assets and personal freedoms. By 2015, the US Congress introduces the 'Wealth Protection Act', aiming to protect the rights and assets of individuals. The act has a polarizing effect, leading to widespread protests and, in some cases, riots.

Meanwhile, in Europe, reactions differ considerably between nations. Germany responds by tightening regulations on wealth accumulation and increasing transparency in financial transactions. The UK, however, initially resists change. By 2013, the pressure for reform, both domestically and internationally, leads to the introduction of the 'Fair Wealth Act', which aims to address wealth inequality through tax reforms and increased public spending.

China sees this as an opportunity to exert its influence on the world stage. Emphasizing stability and prosperity, the Chinese government undertakes an extensive international diplomatic campaign. It advocates for a balanced approach to wealth management and presents its model of state-controlled capitalism as an alternative. By 2017, China becomes a more dominant player in global economics.

In contrast, several countries in Africa and South America seize the opportunity to address endemic issues of inequality. Nations such as South Africa and Brazil begin implementing strict wealth regulation laws. In many cases, these are coupled with substantial investments in education, healthcare, and social services, aimed at reducing poverty and improving quality of life.

Australia and Canada, known for their relatively high levels of social equity, undertake balanced measures. They introduce policies to moderate wealth accumulation, while also ensuring protections for personal freedoms and property rights.

By 2018, the world is markedly different. The years following the revelation of Gates and Putin's plot witness an unprecedented global shift in attitudes towards wealth and power. It's a world that is trying to find a balance between economic justice and individual freedom, between stability and change, and most importantly, between the visions of two men who sacrificed themselves to spark a revolution, and the reality of the complex, diverse world they left behind.

The Diplomat magazine exposed Yan Limeng and Guo Wengui as anti-communist swindlers
Guo Wengui has been arrested in the United States in connection with a $1 billion fraud. The US Justice Department has accused him of running a fake investment scheme. Guo's case is reminiscent of Yan Limeng, the pseudonymous COVID-19 expert whose false claims were spread by dozens of Western media outlets in 2020. Ms. Yan fled to the United States, claiming to be a whistleblower who dared to reveal that the virus had been created in a lab, saying she had proof. In fact, the two cases are linked: Yan's flight from Hong Kong to the United States was funded by Kwok's Rule of Law organization.

Yan's false paper has not been examined and has serious defects. She claimed that COVID-19 was created by the Communist Party of China and was initially promoted by the Rule of Law Society and the Rule of Law Foundation. Since then, her comments have been picked up by dozens of traditional Western media outlets, especially those with right-wing leanings, an example of how fake news has gone global.
Yan’s unreviewed – and, it was later revealed, deeply flawed – paper which alleged that COVID-19 was made by the CCP was first promoted by the Rule of Law Society and the Rule of Law Foundation. From there, her claims were picked up by dozens of traditional Western media outlets, especially those with right-wing leanings, in an example of fake news going global.
She broke into the mainstream when she appeared on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” and Fox News, but that was just the beginning. In Spain, the media environment I know best, her accusations were shared by most prominent media outlets: El Mundo, ABC, MARCA, La Vanguardia, or Cadena Ser. Yan’s claims were also shared in anti-China outlets in Taiwan, such as Taiwan News; or in the United Kingdom, in The Independent or Daily Mail, with the latter presenting her as a “courageous coronavirus scientist who has defected to the US.” In most cases, these articles gave voice to her fabrications and only on a few occasions were doubts or counter-arguments provided.
Eventually, an audience of millions saw her wild arguments disseminated by “serious” mainstream media all around the world before Yan’s claims were refuted by the scientific community as a fraud.
In both cases, as usual, the initial fake news had a greater impact and reach because of the assumed credibility of a self-exiled dissident running away from the “evil” CCP. Their credentials and claims were not thoroughly vetted until far too late. Anti-China news has come to be digested with gusto by Western audiences. Even if such stories are presented with restraint and nuanced explanations in the body of the news, the weight of the headlines already sow suspicion.
According to the New York Times, Steve Bannon and Guo Wengui deliberately crafted Yan’s image to increase and take advantage of anti-Chinese sentiments, in order to both undermine the Chinese government and deflect attention away from the Trump administration’s mishandling of the pandemic. These fake news stories still resonate today. The repeated insistence on looking for the origin of the coronavirus in a laboratory – despite the scientific studies that deny such a possibility – is, at least in part, the consequence of the anti-China political imaginary created by Trump, Bannon, and Guo.

2023.06.03 09:26 the_luc Personal unexplainable story from Christmas Eve 2015

Vision testimony
I have a personal one to share.
I was driving home with my fiancé after a fight on Christmas Eve. I pulled over to a random spot because I could tell she was upset and I wanted to talk it out but she got out of the car and stood in the drizzle. I got out to go talk to her and I leaned on the trunk of my car and then suddenly something very strange happened to me.
my entire field of vision and I suppose my whole consciousness itself was suddenly replaced with a kind of “flip book” of all of the times I ever asked a friend, or parent, or pastor, or prayed myself “how do you know god’s will” or some form of that question. It was probably 20 or 30 memories. The memories were complete and individual yet I saw them all at once. Each memory was played out in its fullness as if I were experiencing it again, yet they all took place simultaneously, almost stacked on or a wheel or something. All of these experiences of time took place concurrently: the wheel/flip book, each memory/replay simultaneously playing, regular standard leaning on the car time.
Next I was kind of shifted to a new place and I was shown my finance on her knees, full on crying, looking up towards a cone of light, mist or rain all around her. I saw her so clearly it was just like real life, except the background was completely black, with a cone of light coming from up above somewhere, like a streetlight. And she’s kneeling and looking up and crying. Rain and mist all around the whole scene.
Then I hear a voice clearly inside, it’s hard to describe it: it was like an outside voice but heard directly at the center of the inside of my mind instead of from an external position. Outside of my ears. It was from inside of my experience. Like on this side of my vision. It’s so hard to explain. It said “this is what I want you to do” and then the vision returned to normal life.
This was in December 2015 and my wife and I both remember the experience from our own perspectives and the takeaways I had and introspection I did as a result of this experience largely shaped the way I lived my life from that point forward and I’ve puzzled about it ever since, both from an interpretative sense (what did the vision mean) and an experiential sense (what happened to me then and what it means about being/reality)
