Nothing given by the ref. 5 Min' N'Doye 8 Min' Villa are probing outside the Hull box, Delph makes a run across the defence dragging across multiple Hull defenders, allow Weimann space to drive and shot, his shot is poor and well wide. 9 Min' Villa break from a Hull throw in, Westwood looks long to Agbonlahor. Dawsons clearance ends up with Weimann he sends Agbonlahor into space. Agbolnlahor looks to cross the ball into the box to find Weimann, its just too long and is cleared for a Villa throw. 11 Min' Clark tries to play it out from the back, its intercepted by Elmodhamdy he finds N'doye he doesn't look short of confidence and tries to beat Guzan from 30 yards, its an easy save. 13 Min' Ball up from Hutton is flicked on by Weimann to Agbonlahor, he tries to return the ball to Weimann but slips at the crucial moment, Hull manage to clear. 18 Min' Good pressure from Hull ends with Livermore down the Villa left hand side, pulling the ball back to an onrushing Huddlestone, he doesn't get his feet right and shoots wide from just outside the Villa box. 19 Min' Westwood crosses from deep towards Agbonalhor, he beats his man but any header from just inside the box is going to have to be special to beat the keeper. McGregor saves easily. 21 Min' Gil looks to be the man to make something happen for Villa, a quick one-two with Hutton creates space in front of the Hull defence. He attempts a shot but drags it wide. 22 Min' Jelavic. Hull go route one, from the a goal kick N'doye sets Jelavic free, clark looks to have got back, Jelavics shot is deflected off the Villa man and loops over Guzan who can do nothing about it. 24 Min' Villa are caught in possession on the half way line, Jelavic plays a lofted ball over the Villa defence to N'Doye he attempts a header from just outside the box, where as a volley perhaps would have seen Hull take a 2-0 lead. 30 Min' Benteke & Bacuna have been sent to warm up, with Bacuna applying tape to his socks.
