Several former German air force officers have been training Chinese pilots for years via companies in the Seychelles, German media reported.
Germany will investigate reports that former Bundeswehr pilots have been training their Chinese counterparts, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said Friday.
His comments follow a joint report in Der Spiegel magazine and public broadcaster ZDF that former German fighter pilots have been training pilots in China.
The report said one of the pilots worked for the company of an exposed Chinese spy.

I wanted to preface this by saying I honestly have a lot of bias towards the groups that I follow of course so this is isn't a comprehensive analysis of group popularity or reputation in korea by any means, just my own fun observations. I saw someone do a similar post once in this sub so I wanted to do the same :) I went for 10 days, to Seoul, Jeju and Busan.

- there are SO many photobooths, maybe it's just the areas I went to but wow I literally saw photobooths everywhere, my and my friends were all shocked how many they had.
- Korea was more similar to China than Japan (as someone who's been to all three countries) in terms of how the streets look, the buildings, the transportation infrastructure, and pure vibes lol. A few parts of Seoul reminded me North America as well, like just the appearance of the streets and I didn't expect that.
- I was lucky enough to attend one of my ults, The Boyz, concert in Korea and I made a post about it here! It's mostly focused on the concert experience so even if you don't stan The Boyz I think it would be a cool insightful skim read :) lol the shameless self promo I spent a lot of time on that post HAHA
- I am a crazy person and I attempted to log down every kpop song I heard in public that I recognized, but of course there's probs lots I forgot to note down. I'm also a new fan (2021 era). I know some classics and older songs still ofc. Tbh the places I heard the most kpop songs being played were definitely the tourist areas, Hongdae and Myeongdong. Otherwise they play mostly Korean ballads, trot and American music.
- The most songs I heard were by BTS and Blackpink. No surprise there tbh. Pretty much heard all of their popular songs at least once.

You would never want to know what ideas I had to deal with the people of Donbass, in fact it almost becomes a rage trigger to me. Despite that, the pro-Russians stragglers are still there, and they are adapting. Nobody has declared surrender yet, so the war will just drag on, as Clausewitz has observed. Many of the counterculture guys who I refer as PANOP (pan-opposition, an umbrella term for modern anti-establishment Chinese) are actually pro-regime folks who ended up graduating from college and have to work 12 hours a day. Despite having changed side, they are actually just the same, same mindlessness and malice, nothing more, nothing less. Meanwhile, censorship algorithms have systematically salted the earth, so that no organized ideology apart from the official one can be present. These efforts are eventually made futile thanks to one man - JREG (yes, you can trust your eyes). His political compass memes successfully provided the PANOPs with enough munition to blow up the internet. The worst crap of 4chan and beyond sedimented into the Chinese one, just like how the large excrement particles sedimented into the anaerobic tank after the initial aerobic respiration, and our netizens feasted on it like bacteria feasted on the fresh excrements. (my knowledge of sewage treatment comes from IGCSE biology, so it might be inaccurate). One of the most terrifying case of how this can influence Chinese internet was the alt-righters in '16. To be honest with you all, after spending years on Chinese internet, I just can't stand regular Chinese netizen calling Azov guys neo-Nazi, they should look into the nearest mirror.

The most notable being Ducling, who have been a staunch pro-Ukraine guy with liberal tendency. He made a reference to Emil Kastehelmi："The Russian 'Special Military Operation' is getting increasingly special, even after day 453" for an question about the Belgorod attack. He also made a cope compilation (the most favored tactic of Chinese pro-Ukraine accounts, known as 合订本, that collects all the past pro-Russian claims as a method of discrediting the pro-Russians. Often with great effect ) of claims surrounding Bakhmut. For people who can't understand the information presented, Chinese internet slang was often designed to evade censorship and is highly informal, so you shouldn't understand it at all. There's another OSINT guy called Suyi控, who made the best analysis of the Discord files ever. Chinese OSINT guys tend to have a boner for Syrskyi, me included. Memelords have also adopted some stuff from twitter, I remember seeing the Putin attending Nuremburg escorted by fellas wearing MP uniforms on the profile on one of the accounts. At the same time, there are also pro-Russians who use the John McBurgers of Ohio oblast under Zelensky's tweet as proof of Ukraine is losing. This tactic can be incredibly effective due to confirmation bias, and in many cases RT have used the exact same material to propagandize both Chinese and Americans.
Bilibili, due to the limitations mentioned in the first article, relies on cruder extraction. There is a guy called Deepstate-carry (Deepstate-搬运) who basically cargo-cult through deepstatemap's telegram. In my opinion, the best combat footages come from a guy called Okken sight (欧肯视线), who is a true neutral source regarding combat footage, he contain a slight Russian bias but his videos are neutral, which led to him being criticized by both pro-Russians and pro-Ukrainians. Guandong peasant Wangdaxi (关东山农民王大喜), who made a video detailing RUSI's latest report. He took great note of the adaptation by the Russian armed forces while dismissing the mentions of poor Russian morale as "western hubris", "illogical" and "political correctness". The Wangdaxi person is actually a protégé of sort of the person who claimed Russia is going to take Lviv (that guy deserves his own article), and it seems like now there's an advanced sect of pro-Russian who have access to information. One of his fans in the comments even took a jab at Suyi控, indicating a capability to compete with even the most experienced Zhihu OSINTer. And to make it worse, HistoryLegend serves as a force multiplier of this next-generation pro-Russia crowd. The doubt just echoes inside me, it accompanies me whenever I saw a Ukraine flag on someone's twitter handle. Such cynicism often end up manifesting into outbursts against pro-Ukraine positions on reddit. I took a grim enjoyment being the "conscience of NCD" where I regard many as vranyo obsessed individuals no better than the vatniks. If there's anyone reading the passage whose uncle work at GUR, don't ask him to [REDACTED] that soyjak off the surface of the earth. Don't. Chinese opinion does not chance the course of the war. - You don't just dump US treasuries unless you intending to take significant, if not massive, losses on them. You'd have to sell them at a rate that the market will bear. Not unless you have some scheme to force the US Government with its now unlimited debt ceiling to buy them all up for dollars that you can quickly spend in order to protect the rest of the treasuries market. - Massive buying of gold, and maybe silver as well, would of course shoot the price up quickly, becoming counterproductive to greater accumulation. Unless, that is that they hide their gold purchases by buying futures contracts that only affect present prices marginally. Then they can buy physical until the price rises above their contract prices, and just wait to exercise those contracts at the locked in prices. Taking down the COMEX and likely many metals traders, while transferring its pricing authority to Shanghai is just the cherry on top here.
- You can't easily corner a gold market producing ≈3,300 tonnes of new gold annually unless you buy out the miners as well. China can nationalize their domestic industry. Or just do as they're doing pretty much now and require all gold to be sold to the Chinese government when a byproduct of other mining, who doesn't export any of it. But to takeover the miners without shooting those prices to the stars, I would think a whole lot of currently well OTM Call options amounting to 51% of all publicly traded miners. Then when gold shoots past lunar orbit, with miners trailing closely behind, you buy what you can cheap, then exercise your stealth Call options to buy control at your set price and take them private. And China is big enough to bully any other government threatening to nationalize those miners to China's determent.

I want to preface this rant by saying that I'm SO happy people are loving the game, and the reason these issues affect my experience so much might be because of my autism and ADD, but hopefully y'all can understand what I'm talking about in this possibly quite selfish rant.
Also, very minor spoilers I guess.
Breath of the Wild is my favourite video game of all time (and I've played a LOT of amazing games). So I was naturally super excited for the release of its sequel, and I bought TotK on release day. I started playing and had a great time for the first maybe 3 hours. Then I slowly started to realize more and more annoying things with the game, and now, not 15 minutes go by without me getting terribly frustrated with the game.
First thing I noticed is that switching weapons is slower than in botw. This is something that i do multiple times per battle, even in small encounters. In botw, switching weapons is very swift, allowing you to switch back and forth between weapons, arrows, shields and bows multiple times in small time windows without breaking the flow of the fight. In TotK, there's a small delay where you can't input anything every time you press left, right or up on the d-pad, and after you've selected a weapon, there's an even longer delay before the menu closes. From my experience, all this more than doubles the switching time on average and feels terrible and it kills the flow of combat every time you switch. You also can't switch weapons with the triggers in TotK for some reason, and don't even get me started on the long ass item menu.
Next thing I noticed is that having to navigate the sky islands for so long without the paraglider is a terrible experience. It's cool in the beginning, but after a while, it's just... frustrating and takes forever imo. This is definitely a smaller thing, but it kinda represents a bigger problem from the very start that I have with the game.
And that problem is clunkyness. This is mostly about Ultrahand, but also about a lot of other aspects of the game. So, the main mechanic of TotK is Ultrahand, and while letting you build anything you want with a huge arsenal of devices sounds amazing, it's awfully clunky in practice imo, at least early game. I'll give it credit for being better Magnesis, but also manually using Ultrahand to spend 10 minutes building a machine to traverse a gap while using up a ton of resources, just to find out that it straight up didn't work, is one of the most miserable experience i've had in a zelda game. Using machines you built is a lot of fun but when you before you get Autobuild, building them feels terrible and is filled with tiny annoyances with the controls of Ultrahand (not to mention autobuild still takes resources).
But why don't we talk about the other abilities too? Ascend is wore revali's gale. There, I said it. It's just worse, it doesn't work if the uneven or slanted, and the fact that you can't use it in the air is outrageous to me. Clunky. Then there's Fuse, which is an awesome concept, but honestly, it just feels unnecessary and slightly out of place to me. A ton of weapons from botw seem to have been removed in totk because Fuse can replace them, but if I'm forced to pick between a stylish sledgehammer or double axe and varius iterations of a club or sword with a rock on it, I think I know what I'm choosing. I won't deny the potential for creativity Ultrahand and Fuse have, but from a casual TotK gamer's perspective, it just doesn't feel as good. Also fusing shit onto arrows is hell why do i have to do it for every single arrow, why cant i just switch to my ice arrows and be happy. And then there's recall which... just takes too long for me man, I don't like waiting in video games, and if I'm already frustrated from everything else, and then I fuck up my recall idea oh my god. Not to mention that you can't use it on enemies like with stasis +, which was one of my favourite combat mechanics in botw, and with recall it coulda been really cool i think.
To really summarize how I feel about this game, it feels like BotW basically had this motto of "if you wonder whether or not you can do something, you probably can", and the few times where it didn't work, it at least didn't feel super frustrating or it might even have been funny. In TotK, I'll have a cool idea, and it either just won't work because the game said so for seemingly no reason (see: my opinion on Ascend) or I'll waste a bunch of time/resources and end up frustrated. And this happens A LOT.
And then there's the more frequent blood moons (annoying), the lack of the bomb rune (im addicted to windbombs), the lack of cryonis (i just like it idk) and the vibe of TotK being much less serence/relaxing/beatiful/peaceful (imo), gloom hands being more annoying than scary, and far inferior to guardians (imho), the lack of the gerudo vai set (very minor but still), etc.... All in all im really disappointed and sad that I don't enjoy the sequel to my favourite game like everyone else seems to.
TL;DR: Everything feels clunky and I get frustrated all the time by so many small annoying things, and all of my favourite things about BotW are either not in TotK, or they feel less significant or much clunkier.
PS. I hope some of you could relate to at least some of these issues I have with Tear of the Kingdom, and if not... that's okay too and I implore you to ignore me and go have fun with your unethical warmachines (which I btw love seeing videos of on here), and in the meantime, I'll just be over here, windbombing around the ruins of Hyrule. To really summarize how I feel about this game, it feels like BotW basically had this motto of "if you wonder whether or not you can do something, you probably can", and the few times where it didn't work, it at least didn't feel super frustrating or it might even have been funny. In TotK, I'll have a cool idea, and it either just won't work because the game said so for seemingly no reason (see: my opinion on Ascend) or I'll waste a bunch of time/resources and end up frustrated. And this happens A LOT.
And then there's the more frequent blood moons (annoying), the lack of the bomb rune (im addicted to windbombs), the lack of cryonis (i just like it idk) and the vibe of TotK being much less serence/relaxing/beatiful/peaceful (imo), gloom hands being more annoying than scary, and far inferior to guardians (imho), the lack of the gerudo vai set (very minor but still), etc.... All in all im really disappointed and sad that I don't enjoy the sequel to my favourite game like everyone else seems to.
TL;DR: Everything feels clunky and I get frustrated all the time by so many small annoying things, and all of my favourite things about BotW are either not in TotK, or they feel less significant or much clunkier.
PS. I hope some of you could relate to at least some of these issues I have with Tear of the Kingdom, and if not... that's okay too and I implore you to ignore me and go have fun with your unethical warmachines (which I btw love seeing videos of on here), and in the meantime, I'll just be over here, windbombing around the ruins of Hyrule. Random BotW fan on the internet, out.
