Hi - I am just trying out the app (after searching high and low for something that combines tasks & habits). It looks pretty slick, we’ll done. But I do have a couple of questions before deciding whether to sign up for Pro: 1. How flexible are the repeating options? For example, can you set custom intervals? Can you “repeat after completion”? 2. Are there no statistics for habits? If not, what’s the difference between them and tasks?

Hey everyone, I've been using the Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro SE and the Corsair Virtuoso XT for a while now and the experience so far has been very enjoyable. I personally love the 2000hz mode on the Dark Core and its the main reason why I continue to use this mouse. I decided to purchase a Corsair K70 Pro Mini Wireless today and man has it been a pain to try to get everything working nicely in a way that I like.
Problem #1: I was originally planning to use the K70 Pro Mini always plugged in to my PC to take advantage of the 8000hz polling rate. In order to do so though, the keyboard must still always be set to "on" and as a result the battery indicator on the Enter key is always flashing green which is very annoying and ruins the look of the RGB lighting. I know it's a silly issue but it's annoying that there isn't an option to disable this.
Problem #2: If I then decide to use the K70 wirelessly with slipstream and multipoint, regardless of if I do it 3:1 with everything or 2:1 with just the mouse, the polling rate drops back to 1000hz completely wasting the entire reason why I use the Dark Core in the first place. I wish there was a way to retain high polling rates while using multipoint, though this might be a hardware limitation.
Problem #3: This might be specific to my PC, but I am curious to hear the experience of others. I currently use this powered USB hub for my Virtuoso XT dongle, Dark Core dongle, and an Xbox Wireless Receiver dongle. The full 2000hz mode on my Dark Core only works for some reason when it is plugged in to this USB hub. If I have the dongle plugged into any other port on the PC, the mouse tops out at around 1000hz, even on the port the USB hub is plugged into. When the dongle is plugged in to the powered USB hub though, the mouse saturates the full 2000hz. I just use a simple online mouse polling rate tester though so maybe it's not entirely accurate. If I resort to using the K70 wirelessly so both the K70 and Dark Core are using their own slipstream dongle, I can't plug both dongles into the USB hub as Windows will only recognize one dongle. I assume they have the same sort of identifier of sorts so Windows gets confused and can only utilize one dongle when multiple are plugged into the same hub. If I then decide to plug the K70 dongle into another port on my PC, both dongles then work simultaneously but then I assume the same polling rate issue from problem #2 will then affect the polling rate of the keyboard. It's harder to measure the polling rate

Has anyone else had a frustrating experience like this? Am I going too far by obsessing over a single green LED or arbitrary polling rate numbers in which the difference might not even be perceivable anyway? I'm curious to hear anyone's input on this.

One Piece might possibly be the most overrated shounen series of all time. It's complete garbage, and Oda is not a good writer.
First off, the plot. The plot in One Piece is incredibly formulaic. Most of the arcs have the exact same structure to them. Go to an island, meet allies, split up, find out that the island is either being terrorized by a bad guy, or it's about to be taken over by a bad guy. Then, the straw hats have to battle against the bad guys. After saving the day, they feast and proceed to the following island, where the same thing occurs. The entire stretch from the Sabaody Archipelago to Marineford is the only part of this series where the plot deviates from this same formula. Other than that, most arcs adhere to the same pattern. The plot is largely devoid of any originality.
A few arcs in the series have little to no relevance on the overall story, and do little to help the Straw Hats accomplish their goals. Skypiea was almost completely filler, aside from the last part where it's revealed that Gold Roger went up there. The entire conflict with Enels regime and the Shandians was completely filler. Same thing with Fishman Island. The New Fishman Pirates are fodder filler characters, and the entire conflict revolving around them had zero relevance to the story. Given that they aren't even significant characters in the One Piece world, the Straw Hats defeating them didn't progress the story whatsoever. The arc had some relevant parts to it, but the conflict revolving the New Fishman Pirates was not one of them. Long Ring Long Land is another irrelevant arc, but that's not even worth talking about. There are probably more than 100 chapters/episodes in all three of these arcs combined. That many chapters with little to none story progression.
Now onto my second reason as to why One Piece sucks. It's terribly cliche and shallow. People frequently criticize Fairy Tail for having the power of friendship, however One Piece does the exact same thing. One Piece has an excessive quantity of plot armor and friendship power-ups. In some cases, the author writes himself into a corner and is forced to resort to deus ex machina to correct his error. For example, the end of the Enies Lobby arc. Even though it was previously established that the Going Merry cant set sail anymore, they somehow got saved by it during a buster call. Even though the Aqua Laguna was happening. Even though a random pirate ship shouldn't be able to sail directly towards one of the three world government powerhouses. This, as well as other comparable events frequently occur in One Piece.
The conflicts in One Piece are very superficial and cliche. Most of the villains are only evil for the sake of being evil. They pursue things like power and influence, which is extremely superficial and cliche. The conflict is extremely straightforward, as well as black and white. Once you can identify an antagonist as pure evil with no justifications for why he does what he does, that throws any hope of ethical complexity out the window. There is no sort of clashing of ideals in One Piece, and the characters are never placed into any sort of ethical dilemmas. Again, the conflicts are very straightforward, black & white. One side is objectively good, while the other is objectively bad. Because of this, the character dynamic between Luffy and pretty much every villain is relatively simplistic and cliche. The is very evident based on the lack of complex dialogue in the series. Why do you think the only thing Luffy said during Alabasta is "I'm gonna kick Crocodile's ass". Again, if there's no sort of ethical complexity then there's also no room for a clashing of ideals. At least Naruto and Bleach had some sort of ethical complexity regrading Byakuya Kuchigi and Pain. There was an ideological clash between Ichigo & Byakuya, as well as Naruto & Pain. One Piece has none of that.
Next up, the characters. This is probably the worst aspect of this story. Lets take Luffy for starters. Zero character development whatsoever. He has no introspection. He has no psychological or ethical complexity/development. He has no internal dialogue. Writing a manga for 26 years and not giving a single thought to character development is shockingly sad. Overall, I find Luffy to be an incredibly boring character. Besides all of the problems I just mentioned, he has one aspect about him that I absolutely despise. Almost every conflict he gets embroiled in has complexities that he is completely unaware of. He only gets engaged in conflicts when his friends are hurt, which is extremely superficial and cliche. In certain situations, even minor characters are more relevant to the conflict than him (Waiper, Vivi). I find it very weird how the protagonist, the most important character in the story, barely has any sort of connection to the conflicts of the story. His importance in the conflict is minor or sometimes even non-existent until his final battles, and most of the villains he fights have no idea who he is, or don't know much about him. Because neither of them knows much about the other, this results in a rather uninteresting protagonist/antagonist character dynamic. However, even if Luffy understood the nuances of the conflicts he's involved in, not even that would make him more interesting. This is due to the earlier statement I made about how the conflicts are quite simplistic, clear-cut, and devoid of any ethical complexity. As long as one side is objectively good and the other is objectively bad, the dialogue and character interactions between Luffy and the villains will always be generic. "I'm gonna beat your ass", "You hurt my friends", "You're a bad person". That's all it really boils down to.
As for the other Straw Hats, all of them remain stagnant throughout the entire series. They are merely given tear bait backstories, and once that's over, they remain the same throughout the rest of the series. They're gimmicks have already gotten stale a long time ago. Brook has been making the same joke since he's been introduced. Same thing with Chopper, Franky, Usopp, Nami, etc. They've been acting the exact same way ever since they introduced. None of them receive any psychological or ethical development. The lack of character development makes the characters so boring.
I have other reasons, but I'm not in the mood to type them out right now. I'll just summarize them quickly: terrible pacing, straw hats become side characters after the time-skip, ridiculously long arcs full of too many subplots, too many garbage arcs, and a few more I cant remember. Terrible series overall.

So I (F, 32 ) made it to 30 days and I am super happy about it. BUT things are still far from ideal. After feeling quite good after 2 weeks the fatigue set in. Week 3 it felt like my body shut down completely. I got a sore throat, a viral infection but no other symptoms. I had to call in sick for a whole week, wasn't even able to do basic household tasks. Week 4 and it got slightly better. After a day at work (desk job) I feel like I have climbed mount everest and I have to lay down at 6pm. I sleep 10 to 12 hours a day now. I still have brain fog, joint pain, annoyed by everything and everyone, no motivation, exercise is impossible to think of. Although I even quit sugar enterely after week 1 and have been eating lots and lots of veggies and good protein, a nutritious diet and taking my supplements I still feel like shit. My face is still bloated in the morning. Only my blood pressure and heart beat/minute are back to normal, digestion somewhat normal. I read all this posts about how everything is so much better after a month but for me it feels like I'm still in the thick of it. But I know it will get better. I'm just a bit frightend by the damage I have possibly done to my body. Going to the doc next week to get bloodwork done.

Im struggling to come to terms with it ending. I think about it almost everyday, I got off on what happened and for the most part im not upset about the experience, but more so at what it set me up with now, being frustrated sexually but more than anything anxious and afraid. I dont feel like im good at meeting new people and maybe this acc will help me with that.
A short few things I wont do:
I wont give you a name or personal information that could lead to my identity being leaked.
I wont send pictures of my cousin as she is completely unaware of this account and I dont want to compromise her in anyway and I respect her.
Im not going on discord or any other platforms, its Reddit and nothing else.

Could use some help with this really strange problem. I have the 15 inch Book 2 with the Nvidia 1060. Windows 11 had a fresh install when I bought this item used.
Initially, the GPU was working completely normally when on battery. No slowdowns. But I did experience some oddness with the battery getting reduced to 0 very suddenly, possible after I detached and reattached the tablet from the base. I also had a problem with the DGPU not being used sometimes in games, possibly as a result of the above.
I read about a "fix" online which involved installing the latest Nvidia drivers and Geforce Experience software. After I ddi that, the problem started showing up.
GPU and video game frame rates are just fine with the charger plugged in. The INSTANT I remove the charger, the FPS tanks to unplayable rates. I checked MSI afterburner and confirmed that my GPU is getting dropped to 139 mhz and the memory to 405 mhz. With the charger in, it returns to 1404 and 4006, respectively.
I made sure to set my Windows power mode to "Best Performance" for both battery and plugged-in settings. I also set the DGPU as the preferred device in my Nvidia control panel. Nothing seems to fix this.
Really bummed because otherwise I think it's a really nice device. But this is kind of killing the usability of it for gaming.

One Piece might possibly be the most overrated shounen series of all time. It's complete garbage, and Oda is not a good writer.
First off, the plot. The plot in One Piece is incredibly formulaic. Most of the arcs have the exact same structure to them. Go to an island, meet allies, split up, find out that the island is either being terrorized by a bad guy, or it's about to be taken over by a bad guy. Then, the straw hats have to battle against the bad guys. After saving the day, they feast and proceed to the following island, where the same thing occurs. The entire stretch from the Sabaody Archipelago to Marineford is the only part of this series where the plot deviates from this same formula. Other than that, most arcs adhere to the same pattern. The plot is largely devoid of any originality.
A few arcs in the series have little to no relevance on the overall story, and do little to help the Straw Hats accomplish their goals. Skypiea was almost completely filler, aside from the last part where it's revealed that Gold Roger went up there. The entire conflict with Enels regime and the Shandians was completely filler. Same thing with Fishman Island. The New Fishman Pirates are fodder filler characters, and the entire conflict revolving around them had zero relevance to the story. Given that they aren't even significant characters in the One Piece world, the Straw Hats defeating them didn't progress the story whatsoever. Long Ring Long Land is another irrelevant arc, but that's not even worth talking about. There are probably more than 100 chapters/episodes in all three of these arcs combined. That many chapters with little to none story progression.
Now onto my second reason as to why One Piece sucks. It's terribly cliche and shallow. People frequently criticize Fairy Tail for having the power of friendship, however One Piece does the exact same thing. One Piece has an excessive quantity of plot armor and friendship power-ups. In some cases, the author writes himself into a corner and is forced to resort to deus ex machina to correct his error. For example, the end of the Enies Lobby arc. Even though it was previously established that the Going Merry cant set sail anymore, they somehow got saved by it during a buster call. Even though the Aqua Laguna was happening. Even though a random pirate ship shouldn't be able to sail directly towards one of the three world government powerhouses. This, as well as other comparable events frequently occur in One Piece.
The conflicts in One Piece are very superficial and cliche. Most of the villains are only evil for the sake of being evil. They pursue things like power and influence, which is extremely superficial and cliche. The conflict is extremely straightforward, as well as black and white. Once you can identify an antagonist as pure evil with no justifications for why he does what he does, that throws any hope of ethical complexity out the window. There is no sort of clashing of ideals in One Piece, and the characters are never placed into any sort of ethical dilemmas. Again, the conflicts are very straightforward, black & white. One side is objectively good, while the other is objectively bad. Because of this, the character dynamic between Luffy and pretty much every villain is relatively simplistic and cliche. The is very evident based on the lack of complex dialogue in the series. Why do you think the only thing Luffy said during Alabasta is "I'm gonna kick Crocodile's ass". Again, if there's no sort of ethical complexity then there's also no room for a clashing of ideals. At least Naruto and Bleach had some sort of ethical complexity regrading Byakuya Kuchigi and Pain. There was an ideological clash between Ichigo & Byakuya, as well as Naruto & Pain. One Piece has none of that.
Next up, the characters. This is probably the worst aspect of this story. Lets take Luffy for starters. Zero character development whatsoever. He has no introspection. He has no psychological or ethical complexity/development. He has no internal dialogue. Writing a manga for 26 years and not giving a single thought to character development is shockingly sad. Overall, I find Luffy to be an incredibly boring character. Besides all of the problems I just mentioned, he has one aspect about him that I absolutely despise. Almost every conflict he gets embroiled in has complexities that he is completely unaware of. He only gets engaged in conflicts when his friends are hurt, which is extremely superficial and cliche. In certain situations, even minor characters are more relevant to the conflict than him (Waiper, Vivi). His importance in the conflict is minor until his final battles, and most of the villains he fights have no idea who he is, or don't know much about him. Because neither of them knows much about the other, this results in a rather uninteresting protagonist/antagonist character dynamic. However, even if Luffy understood the nuances of the conflicts he's involved in, not even that would make him more interesting. This is due to the earlier statement I made about how the conflicts are quite simplistic, clear-cut, and devoid of any ethical complexity. As long as one side is objectively good and the other is objectively bad, the dialogue and character interactions between Luffy and the villains will always be generic.
As for the other Straw Hats, all of them remain stagnant throughout the entire series. They are merely given tear bait backstories, and once that's over, they remain the same throughout the rest of the series. They're gimmicks have already gotten stale a long time ago. Brook has been making the same joke since he's been introduced. Same thing with Chopper, Franky, Usopp, Nami, etc. They've been acting the exact same way ever since they introduced. None of them receive any psychological or ethical development. The lack of character development makes the characters so boring.
I have other reasons, but I'm not in the mood to type them out right now. I'll just summarize them quickly: terrible pacing, straw hats become side characters after the time-skip, ridiculously long arcs full of too many subplots, too many garbage arcs, and a few more I cant remember. Terrible series overall.

one of the many great things about this game is there are so many metas, based on player count, player style, player competence, and which expansions are mixed in.

For me, at 2P vs an engine obsesses wife, I've always been a Terraform rusher and think the game at 2P just works best with base & prelude, no expansions (apart from maps) and not even promos. The most dense deck where terraforming isn't buried. YMMV.

There are so many creative ideas for expanding and customizing the game, here's a list of the things which appeal to me and which I'm "working on" (I mean I have notebooks filled with scientific research articles and publications and ideas for how they might get into a card in the game), please share your "wishlist"

These are not specifically in order
​

1. generally, extra cards or features that enrich terraforming. To me, rushing makes the game run a reasonable length, without overstaying its welcome, without it getting out of control, less card luck influence and less likely to be decided early on but drag on for far too long
   
2. cards linked very tightly to a real scientific idea or concept, so using real science that would theoretically be possible and also reasonable in terms of viable to scale up to a production scale item or idea, considering how a realistic political/economic/scientific environment would work (aside: I am a physicist)
   
3. extra maps / milestones / awards, yes I know the ones we have are designed as complete ideas and I know the designers are not fond of mixed bag/variable M&M, but personally for me I am most gutted that the customizing mars kit on gamecrafter got pulled the day I had it in my basket :( Variable milestones and awards are cool (driven by a ruleset that avoids clashing/incompatible combos) but a jigsaw style set of pieces to make a variable map would be amazing (again, I understand the designers specifically want Mars to be Mars - in which case, lets take some different projections of Mars (not yet shown),and combinations like half Tharsis/half Hellas etc.
   
4. More interaction but not necessarily "take that". Now, don't get me wrong, I like the attack cards and also understand their position in balancing or competing against specific strats. My wife didnt like them at first but has grown to see how they are needed. And interaction is good (also the THREAT is often as effective as the action, which is why tempo moves to convert plants, or not leaving energy you need for a city hanging etc, and managing global parameters is important). But I'd like to see more "Leeching" style interaction, more cards which give you something if someone else does some other thing. Philosophically more cards like Arctic Algae where some other player would do some terraforming type action and you would get some related bonus.
   
5. More board placement. I like when placing tiles is more important in terms of claiming areas, blocking areas, messing up areas for other players. Perhaps some cards which "seed" stuff onto the board as bonusses which could then be claimed etc. I also think it would be interesting to be able to move some tiles in some way (throwaway idea like paying something to "relocate" a city, or rerouting an ocean. Also tiles which would make placing other tiles or greeneries, oceans etc easier (or harder)
   
6. Common events. This is kind of just pulling in ideas already in the game, so it would be something like Turmoil with a display of coming events (which in my head would be mostly terraforming stuff) which affected parameters or locations but wouldnt benefit any individual player, they would provide a kind of modifier to the game clock I suppose.

Preface: this is my own personal opinion, art is subjective and if you think baryon mode is dope you're 100% entitled to that. But also you're wrong and I hate you (apparently necessary /s because some of y'all can't handle this show being criticized)
It just doesn't make sense, and is dumb in every regard.
It just comes out of nowwhere. Naruto gets mortally wounded and literally goes "Kurama, I need an asspull" and Kurama just goes "bet, here's some hax no one, not even you, knew I had, and you're instantly going to know how to use it with no explanation". Like, it envolves a blending (albeit a violent and destructive one) of Naruto and Kurama's chakra right? You'd think doing so would require some practice to get it just right, but Naruto apparently instantly knows how to flow in this state. Granted he ultimately over extends himself, and I'll get to that point, but even just not immediately going to far should take so practice.
And the explanation of how it works. I might be in the minority here, but I really don't like the technology creep of Boruto. I really loved Naruto's "era" of "modern day society set in a more or less ancient technological period with here or there advancements". I don't really like all the massive advancements of Boruto (and that could be a whole nother topic). But this one really irks me. Even with the technology level praent with Boruto, Kurama's explanation is just weird. "Yeah bro it's just like partial physics" yet with all the advancements this series presents, that's a concept that seems well beyond their grasp. Like "oh yeah it works just like nuclear fission" even though there's nothing in this universe that indicates that a concept these people would even have begun to hypothisise a about. And the series seems to be aware of this, as when Naruto doesn't seem to understand the analogy Kurama just kinda shrugs it off as "yeah you don't really get it". So either Naruto is just plain stupid, or this is a concept that shouldn't even exist in this era yet. Just the name seems our of place in the universe. Hell the name itself seems like an anachronism. Okay so is explained as being like a nuclear reactor, a concept we IRL discovered in the 30's. There's nothing else to indicate that nuclear physics are a thing understood in the Naruto universe but let's just give a pass on that for now. IRL Baryon particles weren't discovered until 50 years later. That a massive leaps in science, in a universe that already making massive leaps with no explanation
As for the buffs themselves, it's just kinda boring and uninspired. Every new mode Naruto unlocked in OG (Sage, KCM1, KCM2, SP) propelled him into a whole new tear and brought with it an entire new world of techniques. What does Baryon mod do? It makes him faster and stronger. Again, that's pretty boring. Those are feats he could have accomplished just through training. And why did he need baryon mod in the first place? It's never directly stated he no longer has access to SP powers (and Sasuke still has his, so why wouldn't Naruto?) And there's things about his visual design that would indicate he does still have those powers, just for whatever reason doesn't choose to fully utilize them. And again, why would he need a new mode? SP Naruto was capable of blitzing Juubidara (a pseudo Otsutsuki) AND Kaguya. Okay maybe Isshiki was strongefaster, but again Naruto could just train for those attributes, which you'd assume he would have been doing since discovering the Otsutsuki threat. But I guess not? Apparently he let his demigod status go to his head until someone basically killed him did he discover the concept of hubris, but luck for him he can just overcome all that because plot.
And personally I just think it looks dumb. Yeah it's fitting since you know Nine Tailed Fox, but the hair turning into fox ear just looks weird to me. The marking going from his eyes up into his haiears personallyooks weird. The clock turning into tails again, looks personally weird, at the very least the tail are too short, though I don't think making them longer would have looked better. And, I know this is unique to the anime, but it pisses me off nonetheless so I'm going to mention it (thanks Pierriot, cuz you haven't done enough damage already) WHY IS IT RED?! Both Naruto and Kurama are associated with the cor orange, so why fucking change that for no reason? Just make it a different shade (ya know, like the manga did) if you want it to be visual distinct.
But the biggest thing about it that bothers me is that it's an unashamed asspull. Powering scaling in Naruto is inherently fucked (which again is a whole nother topic). From the kurar of the series Naruto and Sasuke are aay too strong, so the only way we can create a convince threat is to make a massively OP antagonist. But oopse we made them too OP, and some of them are supposed to be defeated, so we gotta massively buff our protagonist to win this fight, but also this was suppyti be a show about a new MC, so here's an ability that kills two birds with one stone. We can have one of our protagonists outclass the completely broke threat, but also nerd them at the same time because this story is about a different MC who should be irrelevant in the power scaling unless we just went him as immediately born into God hood.
Just the way it's presented, and everything about it's rules, scream that it only exists so they can kill off Karuma, because Naruto needs to be nerfed to allow Boruto to take the spotlight, and so the good guys don't have basically gods backing them up, making it impossible to write a thesat
Shit baryon mode highlights what's wrong with Boruto at it's core, it's a complete fucking mess. People like to joke about all the retcons of Naruto and how Kishi was making it up as he went along, but he atleast had a blueprint. Boruto is just weaving plots because the barebones idea sounds cool on paper, with no regard for how irs gonna work out in the longer narrative. Granted the plot was fucked Ron the get go, the way Naruto was written it was intended to have a definitive ending, and as much as a love this universe and would like to see more of it, the OG story needs an overhaul to allow for a truely compelling narrative.
