2023.06.03 08:52 Jaded-Desk9540 I want to join my friend

My good, good friend committed suicide in march. I wont get into it too much, but our friendship was very personal and deep and we shared many dark thoughts with each other, especially as kids. I had no idea she was intending to kill herself, but i hate that it didn’t surprise me.
I just feel like me and her have been running the same race and she got to the finish line first, and i cant help but feel like i need to catch up and meet her there. I know firsthand how painful it is to lose someone this way, and its the worst pain ive ever felt, so i dont want to do it for my family’s sake but fuck. I miss her so much. I love her so much. I want to go back to cracker barrel after church and playing in the snow. I long for our friendship so bad its killing me.

2023.06.03 08:52 horned_angel Am I wrong for thinking my friend overreacted?

Really feel like I need some outside perspective on this. So I recently decided to give notice at my job. Due to the economy I am now a one woman show and the stress has been giving me panic attacks at my desk. Luckily my boyfriend is super supportive, and made the suggestion that I find another job before I even had the thought to quit. We are in an alright situation at the moment, and he knows I’ve been wanting to focus on my more creative outlets. After a long conversation, we knew this was the right move. So jump to me telling our friends. While most of them were mildly concerned or curious about next steps, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. That is until I told the friend in question, who I’ll call P. For background, P is 10 years my senior. He is married with two young children and is very close to my boyfriend and I. He became very distant when I told him. After some prying, we finally had a long phone call where he admitted that he has been having anxiety attacks that he feels are partially due to my having left my job. He went on to say that he feels I am stuck at 17 and every now and then I “Step into my 26 year old” and I’m unstoppable, but that he can’t keep watching me self destruct. I was very taken aback by this, and in the moment just took what he was saying as best I could. He said that my quitting affects so many people, but I really couldn’t see how it affected anyone except my partner and I. Mind you, I have only known him for 3 years, and in that time have not dealt with anything especially heinous that would warrant this level of concern. On top of that, him putting his anxiety attacks on me even partially feels very manipulative in a way, and his other comments feel very demeaning. Am I wrong for being confused? Is he maybe viewing this in a paternal way? Why would he be so panicked? And why does he think this affects so many people. I’m honestly flabbergasted.

2023.06.03 08:52 TheNiceWriter Which of these mind powers (including their downsides) WYR have?

The Dream Mage: You can lucid dream at will, with perfect control of the environment. You can eventually learn to hone your powers and travel into other people's dreams, at first you are unable to interact with their dreams, but if you practice you can make small changes to other's dreams. Eventually you learn to fully control others dreams, but this takes many years of practice.
Downside: If someone wakes up when you are in their dream, for a little while your mind has no way to return to your body. It's like if a portal was connecting your dream to theirs, their side of the portal goes out and you are trapped in their subconscious until they sleep again. While this is happening, you appear to be in a coma. If the person whose dream your in dies while dreaming, you are unable to return to your body at all.
The Social Seer: You start by having a vauge sense of what a person might say to you in response to your questions. Eventually you start having visions in your mind that tell you the exact result of your direct actions, and how the people around you will react. This eventually can be honed to the point where you can sit across from someone, imagine speaking to them, and know exactly how the conversation would go. You can envision multiple accurate futures and have entire interviews with people without even speaking to them. You can learn their secrets, their desires, their fears all without them knowing. At first you have to be in close proximity to the person, but with years of practice you can learn to use this power without being anywhere near the subject.
Downside: These visions can be extremely immersive, and when you're in them, there is a chance you could forget you're having a vision and become stuck in them. When you're stuck in a vision your body is in a meditative state unable to perceive not only the world, but it's own needs. This could lead you to something simple like wetting yourself or something truly bad like dying of thirst. Anyone around you can shake you awake.
The Ghost: This power starts subtlety, you can be in a crowded room and be quiet for awhile and the people in the room will forget you're there unless you draw attention to yourself allowing you to slip out of any event unnoticed. Honing this power allows you to eventually force people to forget you're there, you get to the point where you can look at someone and their eyes glaze over, they pay no mind to you, you can expand this power out to many people. With years of practice, you gain the ability to wipe people's memory of you entirely of you'd like, at first it only works with people who had known you for no more than a few hours, but this can be extended to days, then weeks, and you can get to the point where you could make your own parents forget they had a kid.
Downside: When you get to the more intensive parts of this power, there is a slight chance the memory loss seeps into your own mind. You too might forget the thing you are trying to make others forget. Eventually, memories of yourself will come back, but if you say, wipe memory of yourself from a childhood friend, you could enter a long period where you forgot everything about yourself durring the years you knew your friend, or even regress back mentally to a time before you knew them. This effect is not permanent, but it could last months.
The Thought Inplanter: This power starts off simple, you gain the ability to brodcast your emotions, weakly, into other's brains. If you feel happy, you can extend your happiness and make someone close to you a little happier. If you feel angry, you can make someone else angry. Eventually, you are able to implant very simple thoughts in other's heads along with the emotions. The people are incapable of understanding these thoughts and emotions are coming from you, and they will insist they are thinking their own thoughts. As this powers grow, you can have full choice of the emotions you give to others and the thoughts can be complex and set up to stick around in a person's head for as long as you'd like. You can make people obbsessed over thoughts. This starts with one person, then you can affect 2 or 3, and eventually a whole crowd.
Downside: Whenever you implant a lie or a falsehood into someone's head, you start to believe that lie. You are incapable of recognizing this problem. Eventually, if you plant too many lies, you will become completely delusional and disconnected from reality. The delusions seeded inside your head cannot be reasoned with or removed.

2023.06.03 08:52 Invidat Fallout 4 Intro Rewrite: Or, how I learned to stop worrying and love the (atom) bomb (baby)

So, I do actually quite like Fallout 4 for the most part. I think it has a lot of fun elements. But where it suffers immensely is that it offers very little roleplaying potential.
The major reason for this, beyond anything else, is that the introduction to the game (and by extension the plot) shoehorns you into the role of a former soldielawyer, who's kid is kidnapped and you have to find.
No matter what you do in the game, this is always hanging over your character and can cause severe dissonance when you try to do things that aren't related to the main "Find kid" idea. But beyond that it also means that your character has almost everything about themselves planned out to begin with, with no real input from the player. This severely hampers roleplaying and negatively affects the experience, in my opinion.
So what can we do to fix it? To be honest, this entire problem can be fixed by fixing up the intro of the game, and changing one major plot detail that doesn't really matter much in the grand scheme of the game.
  1. Get rid of Shaun.
Shaun has no reason to be in this game, his presence adds nothing other than giving your player an excuse to join the institute (when the better option would be to... just make the institute an interesting faction to join). His presence, in fact, is a deteriment because you character is constantly focused on finding him, even if you couldn't care less. So we're just cutting him entirely. We can still keep the main quest mostly the same with this, just add a new reason for the MC for wanting to find the institute.
  1. Expand the intro scene
I actually love the idea of the main character being from the pre-war and want to keep it. But I also want to expand on it. So here's what I think... Have the main character in his house, unmarried, with Codsworth and maybe a dog.
Then, allow the player to explore both all of sanctuary hills and a bit of concord (maybe just main street and the museum of freedom). From here, allow for us to do a few quests that impact the main wasteland somehow (like dropping certain supplies or equipment for us in certain locations, access to unique perks that can only be gotten here by doing certain things, and interacting with some characters). Also, let us pick our characters job, this job would also allow us to set our starting special points, further adding to customization and roleplaying potential.
I would also have it so that one of the characters in the past that we meet would become a ghoul, who remembers us and has interactions based on how we treated them in the past, opening them up as another potential companion (it would be nice having a character from that time period that has the perspective of age to come with us).
So now we have a 2-3 hour segment in the past that allows us roleplaying opportunities and lets our character's past actually matter a bit more going into the main game. This entire opening could also be skipped, going to the day the bombs fell and us waking up, with major decisions during this section being picked as we leave, but missing out on some of the smaller side quests for those that just want to get into the wasteland.
  1. Main quest
As mentioned, we've only really changed one plot point, but that does have the effect of destroying the main quest. Or does it? Because the F4 main quest kinda sucks, and having Shaun not be there wouldn't stop our main goal being to find and destroy/work with the institute. I fact, I think that the quest should be focusing on uniting the commonwealth under either one of the factions, a unified alliance of as many factions as you can get to work together, or with you as the supreme leader.
This opens up options like creating a new regional government like the failed one in lore, handing it all over to one of the major factions, becoming a raider overlord that turns the region into something like the pit, destroying it all and making the region an abandoned wasteland, etc etc etc. Basically, NV but in Boston.
The hook that you're a pre war survivor waking up in a post apocalyptic wasteland is more than enough to carry the game. The main quest should be simple but sweet: FIND A WAY TO NOT ONLY SURVIVE BUT THRIVE! How that is, and if you'll do it with others or by yourself, as a leader or a follower, is up to you, as it should be. Theoretically, you should be able to turn the commonwealth into the NCR of the East, A Brotherhood stronghold, a technological marvel, or a slave pit hell hole, and it should all seem like something some type of character would do.
Anyway, there's my changes. What do you guys think?

2023.06.03 08:52 CounselorWriter Hoping to transfer to another location due to job changes, and job hunting again

Let me start this by stating before I got my current job, I turned down 5 jobs that involved me driving or having to cater to people. Not my thing AT ALL. I get a job determining where people are in terms of recovery (mental health and substance). I then pass them on to the case manager and case workers. Case managers do a lot of things like working on goals, while case workers do what I call the grunt work like driving people around. Caseworkers are basically entry-level jobs, they cater to the client, doing things like taking them shopping, teaching them how to cook and clean, helping them do their laundry, etc. This is usually a job those in college do or just out because it's entry-level. My job requires a master's, and this is relevant. I also have a counseling license.
My boss came to talk to me and the other person who does this same job (who also has a master's) and wants both of us to start doing the caseworker jobs, and cater to them. I will have to drive them everywhere they want to go. I just got a new car and don't want most people in my car, and yet many of them are not only criminals but also have poor hygiene. I did NOT want a job where I have to drive clients everywhere or do things like shop and do their laundry for them. My job responsibilities are listed and not one place does it say these things.
Today I put in a transfer to another location to do counseling. If I don't get it, I am going to start looking elsewhere (which I am already).

2023.06.03 08:52 HocusPocusLatte Am I right for being upset?

Hi everyone! So a month or two ago I decided to publicly come out as trans to a few family members and friends, as I’ve finally decided after MANY years to stop worrying about what other people think, and do what’s best for me and my happiness, which is to medically transition.
The first person I told, aside from my lovely, super supportive mother, was a shared friend of ours who’s a trans woman. I barely have any friends/family in my life, but this person was one of the few who I talked with every week, and I was super excited finally share the news about something amazing and life changing to someone I cared for. I thought I would be completely comfortable and in a safe space sharing such news with a fellow transgender person, but my hopes was quickly dashed.
After sharing my transition news, I received a lukewarm response from my close friend, and she pretty quickly switched the focus back to her, and the topic somehow changed to sexuality. Since I had started becoming friends with her, she had always identified as a lesbian, and for some reason she brought up that she’s attracted to women, and sometimes trans men. I then asked her, so do you actually consider yourself bisexual or pansexual, since you like trans men too? She quickly responded with a firm “No, I completely identify as a lesbian.”….
Now, let me mention one other thing. My friend is a trans woman but completely considers herself a real biological woman, and she only goes by the trans label because that’s what society puts on her. That being said, if the totally thinks that trans women are women, how can she turn around and very obviously tell me that trans men aren’t real men? This comment was a slap in the face to me and completely ruined my mood and the special moment of coming out for the first time, and I was so frustrated and hurt. This was my close friend, and almost right off the bat she had invalidated my identity and made me feel terrible.
Not to mention, soon after that she, for some insane reason, brought up rape statistics and how I was 3 times more likely to be raped now. I’m embarrassed to say that I was so hurt by her comments that I was crying. Such a special day had gone to shit, all because s fellow trans person I thought I could trust.
She’s messaged me 2 or 3 times after that night, but I’ve completely ignored her and stopped responding to her. Part of me feels guilty for cutting her off and I worry that I’m being dramatic, but I’m still so hurt.
Am I valid in cutting off contact with her, or should I just deal with it and continue our relationship? Thank you for any advice given, I’d greatly appreciate it.

2023.06.03 08:50 Mr_Mayberry Madden 23 is absolute nonsense.

Offline franchise. Evenly matched division rival. Both teams are 83 offense, 88 defense, 85 overall. I'm simulating the game each week because there is no way I'm putting up with the absolute trash EA tries to peddle as "gameplay". All Madden difficulty, simulation game style, mildly adjusted sliders so that the stats at the end of seasons are as realistic as I can get them.
When you sim, you'd expect some level of bias one way or the other, and I certainly don't expect to win every game. I very rarely sim a game twice, and if I do and I lose both times, such is life. I pack up and move on.
However, the simming has been producing odd results lately, where I almost never win divisional games. So because this is a rival, I wanted to see how many sims it would take to "brute" force a win.
Want to know the answer?
Well, perhaps unsurprisingly, I don't know. I've simmed the game 37 times in a row, and lost every single one, the closet was by 3 points, several (4) have been straight shut outs, and nearly half (14) have been >14 point losses. I'm turning the game off and heading to bed.
This game doesn't make any god damn sense.

2023.06.03 08:49 foursquare1247845 5 Ways Outdoor Advertising Can Boost Your Business

5 Ways Outdoor Advertising Can Boost Your Business
In the digital age, it's easy to get caught up in online marketing and forget about the power of outdoor advertising. However, with projections showing that outdoor advertising will become even more important in 2023, now is the time to start thinking outside of your computer screen. Outdoor ads can help you reach a wider audience, boost brand recognition, and drive sales like never before. In this blog, we'll explore five ways that outdoor advertising can take your business to new heights - from traditional hoardings to innovative transit media services and beyond. So buckle up and get ready for some serious inspiration.

What is Outdoor Advertising?

Outdoor advertising refers to any form of promotional messaging that is displayed outdoors, with the aim of reaching a wide audience. This can include billboards, posters, transit media (such as buses and taxis), wall paintings or murals, and more. What makes outdoor advertising unique is its ability to target consumers in public spaces where they spend most of their time outside their homes. Unlike other forms of advertising which may be easily ignored or skipped over by viewers, outdoor ads are often impossible to miss due to their prominent placement and larger-than-life size. Another advantage of outdoor advertising is that it offers constant visibility to your brand message day and night. People who pass by an outdoor ad regularly will begin to develop a familiarity with the brand over time. Moreover, unlike online ads which can be blocked or avoided using ad-blockers software tools; there's no way for people on the street not to see your ad. Outdoor advertising remains one of the most effective ways for businesses looking for creating strong visual branding campaigns that drive sales while also increasing awareness among potential customers on the go.

Why Outdoor Advertising is Most Important in 2023?
In 2023, outdoor advertising will remain one of the most important marketing strategies for businesses to reach a wider audience. Why? Because it offers a unique way to connect with customers in an increasingly digital world. Firstly, outdoor advertising is highly visible and difficult to ignore. Unlike online ads that can be blocked or skipped, outdoor ads are always present in the physical world around us. This makes them a great way to build brand recognition and increase awareness of your business. Secondly, outdoor advertising provides an opportunity for targeted marketing. By placing your ad in strategic locations where your target audience is likely to see it, you can increase the chances of converting passersby into customers. Thirdly, advances in technology have made outdoor advertising more dynamic and engaging than ever before. Digital wall painting allow for eye-catching animations and videos that capture people's attention as they go about their day. With the rise of transit media services such as auto rickshaw advertising and hoarding advertising in rural areas, businesses now have access to previously untapped markets where traditional forms of marketing may not have been effective. In short, as we move towards 2023 and beyond, businesses that invest in creative and innovative outdoor advertising campaigns will be able to outshine their competitors by reaching more potential customers than ever before.

How to Utilize Outdoor Advertising for Your Business?

Outdoor advertising is a great way to reach your target audience and boost your business. However, simply putting up an ad isn't enough - you need to make sure you're utilizing the right strategies for maximum impact. Firstly, consider the location of your outdoor ad. It's important to choose areas that are high-traffic or relevant to your target audience. For example, if you sell sporting equipment, placing an ad near a sports stadium would be ideal. Secondly, keep it simple and eye-catching. People don't have much time to read lengthy ads while driving or walking by. Use clear messaging with bold graphics and colors that will grab attention quickly. Thirdly, use different types of outdoor advertising depending on your goals. Digital wall painting may work best for brand awareness campaigns while auto rickshaw advertising may be more effective for local promotions in crowded cities. Fourthly, engage with customers beyond just the ad itself through interactive elements like QR codes or social media links displayed on hoardings or transit media services. Track the performance of each campaign so you can adjust and optimize as needed based on real-time data analysis from sources such as rural wall painting advertising metrics or digital analytics tools provided by vendors offering wall painting advertising services. These tips can help you effectively utilize outdoor advertising for growing your business across various channels including digital wall paintings, rural wall paintings, etc., giving better results than traditional marketing practices alone

What Types of Outdoor Advertising Are Available?
When it comes to outdoor advertising, there are several types that businesses can choose from. One of the most common types is hoarding advertising, which involves placing large billboards in high-traffic areas such as highways and busy streets. These billboards often feature eye-catching designs and slogans that grab the attention of passersby.
Another popular type of outdoor advertising is transit media service, which involves placing ads on public transportation such as buses or trains. This form of advertising allows businesses to reach a broad audience since many people use public transportation daily.
Auto rickshaw advertising is also gaining popularity in urban areas where these vehicles are commonly used for commuting. Advertisements can be placed on the exterior or interior of these vehicles to reach potential customers during their daily commute. In rural areas, wall painting advertisements have proven to be effective since they capture the attention of pedestrians and motorists passing by. Digital wall painting technology has made this type of advertisement even more attractive since it offers vibrant colors and moving images. Businesses should consider their target audience and location when deciding what types of outdoor advertising will work best for them. With so many options available, it's important to choose wisely and ensure your message gets noticed by potential customers.

Tips for Creating an Eye-Catching Outdoor Ad

Creating an eye-catching outdoor ad is essential to make sure that potential customers can't resist noticing your brand. Here are some tips for creating a successful outdoor advertising campaign: 1. Keep it Simple: People should be able to understand the message in seconds, so keep it short and simple. 2. Use Bold Colors: Bright colors stand out from afar and grab attention quickly. 3. Be Creative with Images: Choose images that represent your brand's personality, unique features or benefits. 4. Make Text Easy to Read: Using fonts that are easy to read will ensure maximum visibility of your content. 5. Add a Call-to-Action(CTA): Create a sense of urgency by adding CTA words like "hurry", "now" or "limited time". 6.Use High-Quality Graphics: A blurry image or low-quality graphics may not be appealing to the audience you want to attract. 7.Focus on Your Target Audience: Create ads tailored specifically to their needs and interests. By following these tips, businesses can create effective outdoor advertising campaigns that will capture their audiences' attention, generate leads and boost sales growth!

Outdoor advertising is a versatile and effective way to promote your business in today's highly competitive market. By utilizing different types of outdoor advertising such as digital wall painting, rural wall painting advertising, auto rickshaw advertising, hoarding advertising, and transit media service, you can reach out to your target audience effectively. So if you're looking for new ways to increase your business's visibility or simply want to explore different marketing channels, outdoor advertising might just be what you need.

2023.06.03 08:49 James_Torelli How many times is "cosa nostra" mentioned by name in the show?

I know during Johnny Sack's allocution (fucking nauseating) the lady mentions "were you employed by or associated with the New York faction of an organized crime family of La Cosa Nostra" and this is the only time I remember "cosa nostra" ever being mentioned in the show.

I know the word is used a lot in the 1996 Gotti movie, but for instance in The Godfather they weren't allowed to say it because of Joe Colombo and the Italian-American Civil Rights League.

2023.06.03 08:47 GhostlyOrSomething Guys Kirby is 64366.2 calories

Me and a friend found this out after we found out Kirby had bones and another person asked how many calories are in Kirby and so me and this friend stayed for like 2 hours trying to figure this out. First we started by comparing Kirby to Adeleine and we saw this other post about Adeleine and figured out she was 10-13 years old and Kirby is Adeleine's height. But since that started to cause more issues we decided we'd use Little Mac since Little Mac is a human after all who's 5'7 and we then did a side by side in Super Smash Bros 3DS and figured out Kirby is around 32 inches despite his 8 inch canon size. I also remembered that Kirby is said to be an amoeba which is sort of like jelly we first tried to get the volume of Kirby which is 17157.28 cubic meters or around that since Kirby is a sphere and he is 32x32 in height and width. We first tried solving with the 62 calories per gram or cubic meter of jelly which was way too much. We then decided since Kirby was sort of like rubber and also jelly why not add half and half of each others calorie count which gave us 36. We then multiplied 36 x 17157.28 which gave us way too high of a number once again so we then tried for 36 x 1715.728. YES. WE HAD A CLOSE ANSWER! It was then when we remembered Kirby had bones so we had to find out the weight of Kirby which after a quick google search found out was 23.3lbs and my friend had somehow found out the Kirby had 10kg of bone we multiplied that by the 36 calories and we got our final answer. 64366.2 calories. We settled on this number since an average human was 130,613 calories and since Kirby was half the size of a below average height human or 1 Little Mac we think this number is right. There were still a couple steps i didn't mention because i really don't remember some of the things we did. After all, it is 12am so that doesn't surprise me

2023.06.03 08:47 Akario_ I messed up! Mistakes were made!

TL;DR: I got scammed into buying a property and a business where the owner promised me the company could pay for the mortgage and then some, only to find out it was a dead business!? And the buildings needed expansion permits and water meters because the owner had it set up as residential and not commercial. I began with a mistake; around January of 2023, I was convinced by my dad and uncle to buy a property partnered with my uncle; essentially, my uncle and I were going to pay for it via a mortgage.
Now let me give a bit of background to this. First, this all takes place in Puerto Rico, and as you know, PR, well... it's not in the best state, I guess you could say; as for me, I was 21 at the time with no knowledge about real estate what's so ever, so as you can already see we're starting on the wrong foot, as for my dad he knows a couple of things but surface level nothing too profound, now as for my uncle his the one who brought us the deal. My uncle works on a small business owned by the property owner, also located on the property my uncle was offered. According to the owner, he wanted to sell the property to someone who would also take over the Air conditioning business. His sons didn't want it and were doing their own thing, so he decided to sell it to my uncle AKA "the son he never had," however my uncle, well, he doesn't have the money, and that's where I come in at the time I had recently received a lot of money from some insurance my dad had done a long time ago so my uncle came to us and pretty much sold us on the dream that the owner had promised which entailed the following: first from an original price of 1 million dollars he would sell it to us by half $500k it is a 3.88-acre approx. property and has two buildings, one large building divided into 4, two used by the owner's business. At the same time, the rest are for storage, and the other building is a container with a garage. There were also two other containers, but they were pretty messed up and only used for storage. But the cherry on top was that he was going to give us the business and that with the business, we would be able to pay for the mortgage as well as grow plus, he was going to stay with us every step of the way for the next six months also it was a ten year 0% fixed interest rates with a 25k down payment. the owner flexed about how much the company made, how he owned X, Y, and Z, and that he had traveled to many places, etc., and like good little trusting fools, we bought into it.
I'm not that social my communication sucks and I'm way to passive I all ways had my questions and doubts but I never mustered the courage to state them or anything my dad and my uncle were full on head first trusting especially my uncle since he had been working there for years and according to him the business was doing great and moving a lot of money (emphasis on "Moving"), my dad did ask some important questions about numbers and debts and other things but the "numbers" were never really shown only checks and words that were tossed around with a lot of "yeah, yeah tomorrow" or "soon" it's also important to note that both my uncle and my dad can be quite gullible for reasons that we shan't name but yeah after merely a couple of weeks passed everything was extremely fast and rushed and we were told we could go seal up the deal anytime and we went with a lot of trust and hopes and so we took over the business and we quickly found out how false and shit everything was starting with day one the owner left for vacation and along with him went the promise to stay with us for the next six months and guide us we didn't even have access to the company's bank accounts till nearly a moth later so I spent the first moth learning with the secretary wtf I had in my hands and I quickly learned that what I had in my hands was a near dead horse full of NEGATIVE RED NUMBERS! as well as a horrible infrastructure and a hand full of angry clients that hadn't been tended to for weeks or a month and also an imbalance between income vs expenses I check with the business bank and its history for the past couple of years and found it full of negative numbers now I have no idea to this day what the hell the owner was doing whether he was laundering money, avoiding taxes, using the business as a credit card I say this because every time he made a check with NSF (non-sufficient funds) it would still be accepted and not returned essentially the bank would pay it and the account would go negative and he kept injecting into the account every now and then and especially at the end of the month to close the moth positive or some sort of other trick (I don't know if that's common and some business operate like that since I've never seen others operate like that I hope you guys can explain that one to me) but yeah that about sums it up after that I decided to detach my self from the company and leave my owner ship to my uncle but stay with the property to get some rent going because I did see some potential in that with a payment of $4000 a moth I could have cover that and then some but that was until I quickly found out how bad the infrastructure of the whole buildings was a long with some other issues like a building expansion with out permit and that we had to pay $10k+ to restore water to the buildings which we knew that there was a debt of like $600 with the water company which according to the owner some people stole his water connections cause they were made of copper and were exposed and spent 3 days leaking but the 10k is not for the debt which he said he would cover and he did its because he had the water system as residential and not comercial so there was only one water meter and we had to pay for the whole set up as well as add additional water meters. and that's it. I think that covers it; remember that this happened fast in about a month.
Yesterday I finished up with the layer and stuff to undo all this. Thankfully it went smoothly with no issues with the owner or anything well, minus another long wait for him to come back cause the owner had left once again, this time for medical reasons, but such is life overall. I lost like 40k-50k during the whole thing. Some fail, and some win. Still, I've been studying hard since all this happened to avoid repeating these mistakes. I want to think I've improved overall since before this, all I ever did was just stay locked up 24/7 playing games and stuff; I don't regret it much since it was also a great lesson and scary yet necessary experience this single step, this single mistake shattered all lack of confidence, nearly all shyness (still working on that one) and all absence of motivation now I'm simply going to push forward and this time I'm starting small one step at a time.

2023.06.03 08:47 bbb333rrr How hands on is the engineering in BDS? Seems the BDS engineering is the most hardcore engineering in the company, especially space. (Electrical)

After reviewing so many jobs, it seems most aerospace jobs are more systems engineering , say integrating individual components rather than develop parts such as electronics individually perhaps. Makes sense as products as big as spacecraft, satellites, etc. would be so hard to develop each thing and product individually in house.
However after doing more research, it seems BDS is the most engineering in engineering jobs, especially for space as space is new and not as easy to just outsource. I’m looking into electrical engineering jobs for space as I have tremendous passion in space. Although I do like the idea of systems engineering it’s so important and seems cool, I’m not very excited about most of my expertise to be just in PowerPoints . As an electrical engineer, I love the idea of being a little more hands on and innovative, say working on circuits in electronics. Don’t get me wrong I don’t expect every task to be a new breakthrough innovation, but I love problem solving and gaining true technical electrical engineering experience .
So I come here to ask, how much more immersive is the engineering in BDS than other divisions in Boeing? I’m very passionate and want my career experience to be a part of the space race, I’d actually rather take a systems engineering job in space applications rather than a cool design job, yet at the same time don’t want my experience to be only power points.

2023.06.03 08:46 Scythers 6 Months of Funko Pop Collecting - My Stats, Lessons & Tips for Other Collectors!

So I just reached a full 6 months of Funko Pop collecting, It has been a crazy journey so far and I have learned so much.
I want to use this post to share my statistics, experiences, and tips for new collectors!
(Current Funko Pop Collection: 216)
1. At the start, I did not have an inventory management system and just bought and bought and bought, till I had too much to store.
2. I bought Funko Pops that I didn’t have a great deal of interest in because they had a great sale on them and had FOMO.
3. I bought duplicates of certain Funko Pops as I really liked them, but I hadn’t establishing that I have no need for any more than 1 of a particular pop.
4. I would buy common Funko Pops, and neweupdated molds would be released.
1. An inventory system helped me out IMMENSELY. I bought storage containers, and finalised my maximum collection capacity based on how much I was able to store in them. This allowed me to be very picky with my current inventory, and also what I purchase going forward. Through this I was able to trade away pops I really didn’t need and make space for ones that I really liked.
2. I narrowed down my collection to ONLY lines that I enjoy/have a passion for. This allowed me to free up A LOT of inventory and create space.
3. I have stopped buying multiple of a certain Funko Pop just because I “really like them” Funko Pops take up a lot of space, and with how production is currently going, new pops are constantly being produced very frequently. Buying multiples of the same pop is going to cause more issues when newer ones you want to purchase have been released.
4. I completed stopped buying common Funko Pops (unless they are older, vaulted ones) and focused on exclusives, glows, flocked and chases. In my experience of purchasing common Funko Pops, most of the time they either drop a hefty amount in price due to a lack of demand/over supply, or a newer and updated variant is released later, rendering the basic common Funko Pop undesirable (in my opinion).
My tips for new collectors
This is the most crucial advice and MOST important aspect to Funko Pop collecting in my opinion. Funko Pops can an take A LOT of space. Especially the 6” / Deluxe and 10” ones. My advice would be to buy storage containers, figure out how many Funko pops can fit inside each storage unit, and base your inventory management and maximum capacity around that. For example: if your storage container fits 20x Funko Pops, and you want to limit your collection to 100x Funko Pops max, then buy 5 storage containers and have that as your maximum allocated Funko Pop space allowed.
2. ONLY buy lines your are interested in - NO MATTER how great the sale is!
As with the first point, Funko Pops take up A LOT of space. Even if you find Funko Pops for a heavily discounted price, I would advise not to buy them UNLESS you have the space and the desire for them. In my experience, I ended up trading mostly away all of the pops that I bought for cheap (as these were lines/characters I was not interested in). Don’t get tempted by the price, doing this only adds more unnecessary work in the long run when you want to get rid of those pops for ones that you actually like. It is better to limit yourself early.
3. If you need space, cut off pops that you are not as interested in
I know it is hard to decide which Funko Pops to keep and which to part with. Chances are, a lot of the times you might lose money on trading away Funko Pops, but it is important to understand that this is the best decision you can make. If newer pops release that you really like, but you refuse to purchase them because you have too many already, then that is your mistake. Get rid of those pops you have grown out of or are not interested in anymore. Otherwise you are missing out on newer pops that you really like, and it’ll be more difficult to obtain them later, rather than now at retail. Buying pops at release ensures that you are purchasing them for the RRP, they are 100% legit, and you are obtaining them in the best possible condition as factory new.
4. Try to focus your collecting on a certain nichè in your desired lines.
For example, I do not buy modern common pops anymore. I only buy exclusives/glows/flocked, chases etc. This narrows down my collection to very specific variants of Funko Pops and helps me manage inventory more efficiently. A lot of people like to give themselves a rule to only purchase 1 mold of each character in a certain line. While I personally don’t do this, it is still a very good way to manage your inventory.
5. Try to avoid larger pops - especially 9” / 10” / Deluxe Pops
Don’t get me wrong. I would always advise collectors to buy what they enjoy as a first priority, but storage needs to be a huge consideration when collecting. 9” & 10” Funko Pops are MASSIVE, and are the space size equivalent to several 4” Pops. Rather than purchasing a 10” pop, you should ask yourself: is this really worth storing over multiple smaller pops instead? the choice is up to you.
Thanks for reading! I hope I was able to help at least some of you out, and I wish you all good luck on your collecting journeys!

2023.06.03 08:46 MBKillJoy End of the road, update to "20 year old lady, i might be losing her soon"

End of the road, update to
Today is the day.
If you read my previous post, you'll know Nuser had her follow-up appointment on the 11'th of May. Sadly it was not good news.
The wound was/is still not healing, even after 2 weeks, and the canal/hole that was in the middle of the wound had become deeper and led into her tongue.
In an effort to rule out bacteria, fungus and anything else treatable, the vet used a cotton swab to take a sample from inside the deep hole/canal. She then looked at it under a microscope, and did not see anything of that nature, however she did see a lot of deformed, malignant cells.
Now of course to get a definite positive, she would need to take a biopsy, however it is a definite sign of it being cancer.
This also makes sense as the wound is located where a mole/brown pigmentation used to be.
I'm not doing a biopsy as I have judged it to be an unnecessary strain/stress on Nuser. I've also ruled out chemotherapy as it would only extend her life with maybe 3 months, not save it, and it would be a painful and struggling end to her life.
Therefore the vet gave her steroids to ease the symptoms temporarily, and give me a bit of time to come to terms with whats happening and to plan Nuser's final time.
Today the plan is to put her to sleep at home in about 4 and a half hours.
My younger sister is flying in from Ireland, and it will just be my mom, her and me present.
I have no words for how devastated I am. I took her home when she was just a kitten, and I was just a 6 year old. Me and her grew up together. Ever since I was able I have been her the one taking care of her. Cleaning her litter box, feeding her and being by her side at every vet's appointment.
She has brought me many mice, rats and birds over the years. She's even brought them to me, for me to kill, and then whe would eat them. She would bring them to me, and meow until I noticed. One time she had found a nest of mice, and she would carry the babies to me and release them to me. I then killed it and she would eat it and go to get another one. This repeated until the nest was empty.
Whenever she's had to throw up, she would call out to me until I went to her. She goes to me whenever she wants or needs something. At the vet's ahe has always clung to me, seeking comfort. And anytime I've been sad, she has come to lay on me and purred.
I have had 20 years of her love, and she truly has given me everything she could. And I've tried to do the same. Now I have to give her peace before she has to experience more pain. It's the hardest thing, having to choose when someone you love has to die.
I've been feeding her anything she wants, all the things she wasn't allowed to eat. Canned tuna, canned mackerel, smoked salmon, scrimps, milk, whipped and unwhipped cream, canned herring, sausage, mayo and anything else I can think of.
I ordered a customised urn, to match her eyes. And it is beautiful, just like her.
For now this is all. Thank you all for your comments and thoughts. At least I am not alone in this, this community has been a great comfort during this time. Thank you all.

2023.06.03 08:45 SensitiveBug0 High interest rate equals low security??

Hi guys,
In December I moved my savings to keytrade for the higher interest rate but they don't seem to keep up to others that are now at or above 2% so I am opening a new account.
What I ran into with these discounters just feels unreal.
NIBC: After registration I got a phone call from an English speaking guy because he had some questions regarding my checking account. I told this guy in a not so friendly way to fuck off, as I was convinced it was a scammer for several reasons: - no proper introduction (not that it would have made much difference regarding trust, but I would have been polite at least) - calling me on a bank holiday - clearly calling from a call center while spoofing a Belgian mobile number. WHY? - straight to the point and trying to retrieve financial information
It was only 2 days later that I started thinking this actually was NIBC and not a scammer. Like what the fuck NIBC, contact your customers by email / your banking platform so we can at least authenticate you? Instead of doing exactly the same thing as what all scammers are doing.... How do you want less tech savvy people know the difference between a legit and a scam call? How do you want me to explain to my parents that this call is okay but the next one is probably not? I really hope I am wrong and this was a scam call after all but I'm afraid not...
So I moved on :-).
MeDirect was next. The registration process was much smoother and them using itsme gave me confidence they had their shit arranged. Oh boy I was wrong. For authentication they rely on a password (which is even limited to 20 characters... But okay, 20 sure is considered secure, it just introduces some limitations to passphrases) and MFA via SMS. SMS out of all options available these days!! Phone numbers have so many attack vectors I really don't call this secure in this day and age. Few years ago I stole my own mobile number from the company I worked for to proof it's insecure, I did it in less than 30 minutes. And I'm not even talking about SMS being a plain text protocol!
Please, at least give me an option to use more secure authentication mechanisms! (Itsme, your own app, digipasses, FIDO serurity keys or even timed otp).
Clearly I'm not going to protect my savings with sms authenticion, so I moved on again...
Last one on my list is Santander. I'm hopefull as they are part of a large Spanish organisation. Fingers crossed tho, they already used an sms code in their registration process (I'm fine with that if it's to verify my number) and they limit the password to 16 characters which prevents one from using a more secure passphrase. Let's hope they offer some decent security or I'll stick to keytrade for now I think. It's just not worth the risk....
The extra interest is worthless if everything would get stolen...
How do you guys keep your savings secure? :-)

2023.06.03 08:44 BestWheel7068 I am a guy in my early 20s and don't feel like an adult yet

I grew up with good immediate and extended family, relatively good wards, and outside the morridor.
Unfortunately due to circumstances in life, I never had a ward with a lot of girls my age, and when my friends started moving out I didn't have many friends. Due to circumstances I won't go into I didn't have many friends in highschool.
I'm a pretty late bloomer. There's definitely a lot of things I'm abnormally good at but if there's one thing I wish I was okay at it's just being average.
The simple fact of the matter is I'm still closeted. Only now am I finally starting to expand my friend circle outside Mormonism. I want to go to university so I can be completely free to express myself, both sexually and religiously.
I still live at home with my parents and siblings like several people I know do, and I know that's not weird, it just feels like I am watching behind a glass window observing everyone else being free. Yeah I have a car and a job but the lack of friends specific non Mormon has substantially limited my reasons to leave and hang out outside the house. I don't live in a bad area but I'm really tired of the place I live at and need something new.
I won't be young for forever and while I'm in community and online college I don't have the academic requirements to get into Uni right now sadly. I see some of my old childhood Mormon friends that are now shamelessly exmormon, some who went through hell and back with their parents, and some are even younger than me living like full adults.
I'm not really sure where to head in my life. I feel like the only true path forward is college because I need both more close friends and I want the majority of my outer friend/contact circle to be non Mormon.
I've been mostly a goodie two shoes my whole life. Yeah I would swear but I've never done anything overtly "bad". A little over year since my faith transition began now, I've finally gotten much more comfortable with how non Mormon or "clean" people act and while I intent to be respectable and responsible, have started to become less goddie two shoes.
But overall I feel unprepared for the world. Even though I'm not as introverted as I used to be, am more confident, etc, I still feel like I'm living the same life I did as a kid, just with more possessions, talents, money, a car, etc. I don't want this special season, I want a whole new TV show. I'm also somewhat afraid to step out of my comfort zone.
Simply put I just don't have the network to support me. I am 100,000x more confident REGARDLESS of what I am doing when someone else is doing it with me. My true friend circle is WAYYY smaller than it used to be when I was a young TBM.
What I would give to have those types of close and fun friendships again, drive off aimlessly with a friend or two , spend time in new places trying new things, just like I had talked about with all my childhood friends. Tho there is plenty of good in my life and more things than I thought I would be doing a few years ago, I really need a breath of fresh air.
I feel a sense of urgency because of my age. I've gotten better at managing my depression and existential crisis but it's still present.
There's so much I haven't experienced in life yet, and I would really, really love to do that while I still feel like a young adult.
The church really sucks
Anyway just wanted to vent.

2023.06.03 08:44 JohnnyBlack22 Tips for 200k

Tips for 200k
I few days ago, I posted asking for advice on how to break 200k without Polaris. I didn't get many responses, so I kept at it myself. Well... I did it! I got 209k with Bardur.

Bardur + Quez

The strategy I used here was to set the tribes to BarduQuez only. I research meditation on turn 1, and then get alter of peace on turn 6. Because the defender's can't really do anything, your warriors can run around and explore, and they won't die (usually).
Trees. Forest temples are far more efficient than other temples, as far as points/star. With only Bardur and Quez, the entire map is covered with trees. You don't want to take an Omaji city and get a bunch of fields. Early forest temples essential for attaining astronomical scores.

It's no secret that diplomacy is the key which unlocks 200k, but how exactly? First, offer peace with every single tribe. It doesn't matter who accepts, play around whoever does. Second, go diplomacy immediately after philosophy and start placing embassies in every capital, starting with the least likely embassies to be destroyed.
One thing Quez bots will do is walk next to someone else's capital with their defender and stand there (menacingly!). This is amazing for embassy chaining. In most games, there is one, maybe two turns where there's a foreign unit inside a bot's starting square. With Quez, a defender could be standing there for 5 turns. Playing against Quez drastically increases the chance of chaining embassies.
Use alter of peace to level your capital, and get a Giant out asap. The bots will think you're "weak," and will be unlikely to accept your peace treaties, until you get a giant out. After that, many will accept.
The bots are also kind of smart with diplomacy. Let's say I walk next to two units, pink and orange, both of which I can kill. We are closer to Pink's capital. Kill the orange one, then offer peace to pink, and they will often accept, even before you have a giant.

Breaking Peace

You're getting 8 stars/turn from your allies, so there's no rush to break peace. If it gets to be turn 20-21, and your only remaining allies have a single city, just leave them alone and get alter of peace between 21-26 (if you didn't get it at the start).
Mindbenders are great for breaking peace. Run them next to the enemy border, and next to any straggling giants. Giants will almost always move towards your cities, so spawn a mindbender in each city with a giant 1 square away, and you can almost certainly convert the giant net turn.
Knights are also great. Knights allow you to break peace, then run through an entire line of catapults before they can attack. This makes the war for those final cities a slaughter, instead of a two-sided blood bath, saving you many unit points, and often capturing the city on the first turn, maybe the second.

Other Tech

Whenever possible, siege and then place a mindbender next to the city. This way, if they giant push you off, you can just convert the giant and resiege, without losing tempo. Often, if you don't do this, a giant push can be a 2-3 turn ordeal.
Cloaks are great because the refund 4-8 stars when they attack the city. They're quick, effective, and cheap. Use them heavily in the midgame.
Pretty much never spawn more than 2-3 giants. Occasionally, you have to giant to prevent an awkward city from getting sieged (I did that in the 209k game), but giants are expensive. A park is 250 points: 50 stars worth of points. You could literally make 2 catapults, 2 knights, and 2 cloaks, instead of your giant, and you're still coming out 2 stars ahead.
Ships are also expensive. Sometimes, they're necessary, but 20 stars is a lot. You'd much rather use catapults for 8 stars than battleships for 20 stars. This, again, is another reason to use cloaks. They're extremely cheap, at 8 stars, some of which you get back, but still quick and effective.
When you're on a 200k pace, every single field tile will have a temple in it (or maybe a forge). Another benefit to BardeQuez is you don't have to destroy 15 farms in order to make this happen. Every deep water, and most shallow water, will have water temples, and of course every non metal mountain will have a mountain temple. Keep that in mind as you play - you are going to max out the board, and also need to spawn 20 knights at the end.

Maybe Obvious, But Worth Mentioning

Destroy every lumber hut, and build a forest temple on that square. Watch out for allies standing on them; there's a bug right now where you can't destroy if an ally is standing on the square. Forest temples come first, and only make water temples once you've maxed out your forests.
Build as many temples on turn 18 as you can. If you're missing custom's houses, temple on turn 18, then finish of your custom's houses on turn 19. You can also temple before turn 18 if it levels a city for the extra staturn, if you're really crushing it with econ.

When to Reset

Some quick benchmarks:
20 stars/turn on turn 7.
30 stars/turn on turn 8.
50 stars/turn on turn 9.
Tech tree finished by turn 11.
You can get far more economy than this, but as long as you have forests, you can hit 200k with just these goals. If it's turn 8, and none of the bots have accepted your treaties, and you haven't gotten any freebie cities, and you're at 21 stars per turn, you're on pace for a ~160k, so play it out if that's your goal, but reset if you're gunning for 200.
In the mid/lategame, if one of your allies gets 3-4 cities, it's probably over. It's going to be too cumbersome and expensive to wade through their wall of swordsman and giants. You can try, but you'll probably end up stonewalled, maybe not even completing alter of peace at the end of the game. It can turn a nutty game back into a 150-160k.
Lastly, don't hesitate to reset on turns 1-5. If you explorer on 0 and it goes the wrong way, just reset (explorer on 0 you should always get meditation on 0). If you workshop, and then the map doesn't work out so you can explore, just reset.
If you're gunning for 200k, you need to get a bit lucky. Cheesy captures where capitals are free for no reason. A random early bot accepting your treaty, or establishing an embassy. Stuff like that. Note that this game, I had no whales in my capital, and only a 2-spot custom's house in my capital, and was still able to get 209k, so there's no need to reset purely off that; you can get lucky in other ways.
Hopefully this helps people break the 200k barrier! I love perfection.

2023.06.03 08:44 No-Jeweler1383 My friend is ignoring the friend group to spend more time with her crush and I feel spit on.

So, one of my friends in my group, let’s call her Abigale (15), has a crush on a new member of our friend group, let’s call him John( Also 15). At first, it was just her taking an interest in him and stayed back just getting to know him as all the rest of us got to know him too. She then started to move next to him and was always next to him. I saw this and realized that she must have a crush on him. It wasn’t too bad, but it was noticeable that she liked him. We got together more and had more parties. I hosted a movie party with a fun activity before the movie. So, we were all interacting together, except Abigale. She was only interacting with John. John had his body pointed away from her, meaning that he did not want to be in the conversation. She continually left me out the whole time of the activity. Then it was time for the movie, as soon as John sat down on the couch, Abigale beelined right to him and sat down so close to him when the rest of the couch, which is a big couch, was empty. I was the last to sit down and when I went to get a seat, she scooted closer to him to the point where she was basically on top of him to make room for me. There was still not enough room, so everyone scooted back as I found a different spot to sit, but she did not go back to where she was before. She remained on top of him. She took pictures of everyone but left me out of all the photos. When I told her that I wanted to be in the photos and asked her if she could wait for me, she said she would take more, but she never did. To be fair to her, she could have forgotten but it still hurt. After the party, I told her that I felt hurt and left out and she got all defensive of her crush on John. I had to tell her that this was not me telling her that she should not have a crush, in fact, it is amazing that she doesn’t have that voice in the back of her head saying she isn’t good enough to have a crush or for someone to have a crush on her. She said she was sorry for making me feel left out and that she would make sure to make me feel included. (Spoiler alert, it gets worse.) So, we have this thing where we see everyone before school for an hour every Tuesday through Friday. I thought she was keeping her promise when I saw her for the first 5 minutes. Then she would go back to how she acted before. I didn’t think too much of it because I am better friends with someone else, so I just went to them. A different friend hosted a pre-party to a dance we were going to. Abigale was all over John. I kept on looking at him and he seemed uncomfortable, to the point where my sister noticed it and brought it up. Once we got to the dance, Abigale kept on dancing right next to John and he kept on moving and switching where he was. Time skip of about a month and I had broken my foot. I couldn’t move around as easily as I was in crutches and John was kind enough to move chairs out of my way each day for a week so that I could get out of. Abigale’s crush is to the point of obsession. She somehow finds a way to get the conversation about him and always says that we need to get together to host a party. I am DONE with hosting parties where both Abigale and John are there because she will ignore me and go to him no matter what happens to me. I have had multiple panic attacks in a row, and she was still next to him. She did look over at me once. ONCE. He seemed to care more than her. I have left the planning to her and other friends. She planned a movie night at her house, and I thought, “Oh her parents will be there maybe she will not sit right next to him to avoid her parents’ asking questions.” Yeah, no that did not happen. Her parents were upstairs the whole time, which my parents usually are too so that isn’t weird. But she still sat right next to him, and her couch is a lot smaller than mine, so she was on top of him. She was looking at him the whole night talking to him the whole night and not talking to anyone else. Our neighborhood hosted clothespin tag for all the kids 10-18. I couldn’t play, so I sat out with a friend. Once the game was over, everyone got up to talk and have fun, but she was talking to just him outside of the group. Go her. She is chasing what she wants. One last example, we had a lake day and Abigale was always with John to the point where I was left out. I was left behind on shore with another friend who also gets FOMO when everybody else was on an island in the middle of the lake. That hurt because no one came back for me and when they finally did come back, they came back for food. That hurt a lot. The rest of the evening she was always next to John unless other male friends wanted to be next to him. She only paid attention to John the whole time. When it came time for us to go home, I looked at her for a ride because we understand that if one of us gives them a ride to the place, the other brings them home. We gave Abigale and her twin a ride to the lake, so I was expecting her to give me a ride home. When she said she was getting a ride with John I was confused and asked her, “I thought that since we gave you a ride here that you would give us a ride home. How am I getting home?” She raised her voice at me, and said, “You’ll get home!” I was taken aback by her telling this to me one step below yelling and her laughing after to cover it up. This really angered me because I almost had no ride. One of the other people had to go out of their way to take me home. I profusely thanked the person who was able to take me home and her dad because it was so last minute and out of the way. The whole lake day was confusing because it was just thrown together with no real planning. There was no communication, so I texted her to get clarification and she gave a weak excuse that planning it was hard. There were no parents there. My parents were the only parents there. My dad was expecting all the parents to be there. There were no snacks or drinks. The only planning that was done was the times when we should be there. Over the course of John being in the friend group and Abigale’s crush on him, his body language is always pointed away from her in contrast her body language is pointed solely towards him no matter if we are in a group together or not. To me, it looks like he wants to be with everyone else and not in a conversation with her. John is a really nice dude, so he is not going to ignore her or put her aside to do what he wants. He isn’t Abigale. He actually thinks about other people. My friends are almost to an age where they can date so I understand that she is so close to being able to do something about her crush and ask John on a date, but we still have 6 months until he can date when she only must wait another month. Many friendships have broken because one friend got someone, and the friend doesn't like the bf or gf is getting what the friend used to and the friend feels left behind and forgotten about. I have told her that she needs to regulate her attention to both sides. She needs to keep the attention of John and the group the same so that no one feels left out or forgotten. I felt like that, so I told her she needs to not leave her friends behind for a crush. I asked my friend who isn’t in the friend group what I should do, and she said to ignore Abigale and if she notices, make up a random excuse as to why you have been ignoring her. If Abigale does not notice that you have been ignoring her, then talk to her saying that you have been feeling like she isn’t including you and you have been feeling left out. I have talked to her about this before and she did not change. I also asked my sister what I should do, and she agreed with my friend. I have been ignoring her aside from when everyone says hello and gives hugs. I have been doing this for a week now, even with school out and us not getting together in the morning, we have had parties the whole week and she hasn’t noticed. I even invited her twin over for a movie and told her not to tell Abigale. What should I do? Should I confront her about how I feel again?
TL; DR: My friend Abigale had a massive crush on my other friend John to the point where she is always next to him and ignoring the whole group to be with him. His body language tells me that he is uncomfortable being that close to her, but she can’t take a hint from him. I have ignored her for a week, and she hasn’t noticed.
