Just swapped the transmission on my Jeep, with a high mileage unit as it's the only one I can find locally. Got it finished up yesterday, and went for a quick test drive(1/4 miles). When I left the house, everything seemed fine, although the gas pedal seemed a bit hard to push(the TV cable seems too short, so may have something to do with that.) By the time I made it back to the house, it sound like it was skipping, or something inside the transmission is tapping on something. It does so in every gear selector location other than park.

Before installing it, I did have the trans oil pump out(relocating the vent), and the intermediate thrust washers got out of place, and crushed them. Swapped them out with the ones from the transmission I removed(measured thicknesses and they matched). Another issue I had was that the first time I was installing, the torque converter slide forward as I was manhandling the transmission into the engine, and I did try pulling it in with the bolts, before realizing the torque converter must be out of place. I pulled it back out, pulled the pump out again, and didn't see any damage, although the inner pump gear did seem to slide around inside the pump awful easy.

I've yet to start tearing it all back apart. I'm hoping it's just the pump gear cracked, but then, did I damage something deeper in as well? Or did the mangled thrust washers damage something down in that area?

Can't source another used transmission locally. My options are left at trying to fix this one, rebuild one of the other 2 I've got here, or buy one for $500, with basically no warranty off Ebay. I don't have the budget to have a shop do a rebuild. I'm also looking at finding a beater to get around in until I get this sorted out.

Hello! My English is not the best, but I'll do my best to explain what's wrong and how far we've come to solving the issue.
When using the windscreen washer we get water flow to the headlights, but no water comes to the front windscreen, neither to the back. It has significant pressure to the headlights, so we don't think there's a pressure issue here.
We unplugged the tube under the hood, used the windscreen washers, still no water to that tube. We've blown into the tank, which works, indicating that it's not clogged.
I'm pretty sure there's only one pump, and as far as I can tell the pump is not the issue, since it works for the headlights.
Last thing we did was using a T-connection from the tube that goes to the right headlight, that had no issues before, and connecting it to the front and rear windscreen washers, but upon trying it out again there was still no water???
It's so confusing. Do you have any idea of how we can explore and identify this issue any further? We are going to check once again if theres any water coming where we put the T-connection.

So I fixed that but now, each time I run a cycle and turn the drying function on, it will go through the entire wash and spin cycles but right as it is going to go into the drying cycle it shuts off and then back on with a PF error code.
But when i do the dry only option, the element heats up and the fan kicks on with no PF error code. Atleast so far.

Hey guys I was wondering if any of you knew a good reliable GX 390 Honda Clone Engine? I've been curious to try them out and my pressure washer could use an engine upgrade as the pump is a little overpowered for the current 10 horsepower engine. There is also a guy in my area who sells used Honda engine he sells gx390s for $390 what you guys think would be the better option

someone had an extra bag they gave to me, but it came from their basement and had mold or mildew on it. normally i'd say "no thanks" but i need a bag this huge, it's about 40" x 18" x 18" :-) So i want to salvage it.
I just sprayed it with original pine sol (kills bacteria etc.) I dont even know if it's gonna fit in my washer, but if it does, should I wash it with white vinegar and detergent, or pine sol and detergent? borax? baking soda? and then should i air dry, or put in dryer to kill anything?
or should i forget laundry machine and soak it in the tub instead? i see different ideas here too but wonder what is best. in that post, they were just trying to get rid of smell.
i am hoping not just to get rid of any smells but to kill any potential mold or mildew. in appearance, it is hard to tell if it's dirt or mildew/mold but i smelled it and it definitely isn't just dirt. smells like basement....

My nmil has been obsessed with me and my NORMAL cleaning habits. She has this thing where she thinks dirty things will help keep viruses and bacteria away and complains at my bf and I when we wash stuff.
Examples are...when nm/f/il got a new fridge after 10 years there was mold where it was laying due to water damage, crumbs, hair, just a whole 10 years of stuff collecting. She took the dish sponge and cleaned all of it up, placed it back in the sink and didn't rinse it. Then proceeded to wash all the dishes in the sink with it with no soap. She also cooks week to months old food, drops it on the floor that hasn't been washed in over a year, and gets mad when we don't eat. She also never uses soap when washing dishes so nothings ever actually clean. My bf and I will load the dirty dish washer and she'll think it's clean because in her eyes dirty things are clean. And will contaminate the whole kitchen cabinets so we have to rewash everything.
Back to now my nmil and nfil are heavy alcoholics they get home from work and will drink until 9pm-11pm on empty stomachs. My bf and I have a limited amount of time in the kitchen and have to work with our schedule with their schedule. It's been very time consuming and really putting me in a tough spot to live honestly with the alcoholism and narcissism. Like I mentioned above she has an obsession with me and my cleaning. Sometimes I have to clean around them and I hate it. She will stand over a few feet away behind me out of my sight and watch me clean, then will tell me to quit using so much water, tell me my ocd habits are terrible and I'm clearly not in a good state of mind. Then will demand me to quit using the water pressure I'm using which I've learned around her to turn it into a trickle, she'll come over reach over me and turn the water off while I'm doing dishes. Will tell me everything I'm doing in the kitchen when cooking is wrong and make a big deal out of "omg I just can't watch you anymore you're ridiculous"
I've been sick with a stomach virus recently as well as my bf so we've had sometime home alone. Mines not as bad as his so I decided to take the time to clean the kitchen he usually does it because I hate doing dishes. So I took my time cleaning up the kitchen doing all the dishes, making sure they were all clean. Took me 6 freaking hours to do because ya every dish was dirty because she keeps unloading the dirty dish washer whenever we clean and not actually cleaning the dishes just rinsing them for a second. My bf spent an hour doing dishes too. Guess who unloaded the dirty dish washer?? Her. God forbid we can't accidentally forget to do something (running the dish washer when were waiting to put something else in) or else she swoops in and ruins the whole thing. There are days where I'll go 8 hours without eating because of how messy the kitchen is and can't get in there because his parents will come in and complain at us for doing stuff or eating food that they didn't make, and also can't go anywhere because they'll complain and get mad at us for going out of the house.

There is a major problem here and that is the idea that we need to achieve energy abundance and international cooperation before we get ASI. Essentially, you are saying that if we don't achieve utopia before we get ASI then we are almost certain to get dystopia and extinction. Given that there is an absolutely zero percent chance we get there in the next 20 years and a practically zero chance we get there in the next 100 years, does this mean that the only solution is to completely stop all progress on AI immediately before we reach the typing point where the AI can improve itself?
We are already very close to, and have perhaps already passed, the point at which an AI is capable of being given agency and doing its own AI research. Granted, the most powerful and capable models are affiliated with large companies as they cost a lot to run but both anthropic and OpenAI were small shops before they produced their big model and Google and Microsoft invested in them rather than built them. So it is clear that a small shop can build a powerful AI and we are shrinking these models everyday through better chips and better algorithms. At some point in the very near future you will be able to build an AGI on a system that is affordable for a single household (i.e. costs as much as a house).
If you combine these two ideas, that we need to achieve utopia before we get ASI and that we'll be capable of building ASI (or at least starting it) within the next decade, the only possible solution is to institute a complete ban on computer progress. This would likely also need to be a ban on physics and other science as those can lead to breakthroughs that make computing cheaper and they will need more compute power to continue advancing. A ban this powerful, and world wide, will of necessity be one of the most ubiquitous police states in the world and will rival North Korea. The additional problem is that once you give the government the power to regulate any science or research, including hobbyists, then you have given so much power to the state that corruption is inevitable.
This world, where we stop AI now, is the dystopia we fear. We are proposing to build the very monster we fear in order to save us from itself.
I don't think it is possible to build the utopia until we have the AGI (or something close to it). I look at Marx for this. The economics of a society shape its power system. In a capitalist economy you have a few factors which shape or economy. The first is the division between labor and capital. The tools to produce value are expensive and difficult to obtain. Initially you needed massive factories and tracts of land. This limited ownership to all but the very few. For everyone else to survive, they needed to hitch themselves as laborers to one of these owners.
As time has increased technology has grown to reduce the amount of capital you need to create wealth. The FANG companies were funded by small entrepreneurs with home equipment. They did, however, have to attract large investments to grow. Silicon valley maintains this trend where amazing new tools (and really shitty ones) are created by individuals but that big capital is needed to rev them up. This is why the capitalist system maintains itself.
AGI is extra powerful because it allows a single person to do so much. (This is assuming AGI that is capable of replacing human labor but still needs human initiative.) This becomes more true as we move AI from million dollar super computers into people's homes. The individual will be able to compete on an unheard of level. The Internet tools that we all use will be replicable by any individual. Big investors won't be able to keep up as by the time they finish the paperwork to invest a new competitor has already shot up. Additional advances, like ubiquitous 3D printing, configurable factories, and eventually nano-replicators, will help eliminate the grip of physical manufactures.
As the capability gap between the investor class and the working class shrinks, the investor class will lose their power. A post-scarcity world will emerge, though it will likely involve many bloody conflicts. AGI is a primary tool we need to make this happen and so it, necessarily, must come before the utopia but after it. A hyper intelligent AI will be able to assess the situation and help us navigate towards the better society.
This is why, my theory is that the best method to build a utopian society is to get powerful AI into the hands of as many people as possible.

Fence is 5 yrs old, never stained. Grey, some dark water stains. I have oxalic acid, a pressure washer, and I could make a TSP/bleach mix. If I am using an extremely dark black oil stain, how much prep is necessary for the fence to accept the stain well? I doubt any discolorations will show through this stain.

Like the title states, we have a washer dryer on the property, but it is also where we store items. Is opening that area up worth it?

Camera Lens Moisture Removal
Hey, fellow S21 Ultra enthusiasts!
I just had a frustrating encounter with moisture in my camera lens, and I wanted to share a nifty little hack I discovered to tackle this problem. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, this method might just save your day.
So, here's the story: I was out shooting some beautiful pictures of my fishes in my fishing tank by submerging my s21 ultra but after I was done I noticed water behind my camera lenses and I did realise that may be the build quality or the adhesive quality of the camera lenses were not up to the level it should've been
After researching online and experimenting with different methods, I stumbled upon a unique technique that involved using a vacuum and a hair dryer. I was skeptical at first, but desperate times call for desperate measures, right?
Here's what I did:
First, I turned off my phone. It's crucial to take precautions to avoid any potential damage during the process.
Next, I set my hair dryer to the lowest heat setting and carefully directed the warm air onto the lens for a few minutes. The idea behind this step is to heat up the lens and the trapped moisture.
Once I felt that the lens was warm enough, I turned off the hair dryer and immediately positioned a small vacuum cleaner with a narrow attachment over the camera lens. Make sure to create a tight seal between the vacuum and the lens to maximize suction.
With the vacuum turned on, I gently pressed it against the lens and held it in place for a minute or so. The vacuum's suction power, coupled with the heated air, created a favorable condition for moisture extraction.
Afterward, I carefully removed the vacuum and inspected the lens. To my delight, the moisture was significantly reduced, and the hazy spots had vanished!
I must emphasize that this method should be approached with caution and only used as a last resort. It's crucial to use the lowest heat setting on your hair dryer to prevent any damage to the lens or other camera components. Additionally, avoid applying excessive pressure with the vacuum to prevent any mishaps.
Remember, prevention is better than cure. It's always a good idea to protect your S21 ultra from moisture by using proper watertight cases, camera bags, and silica gel packs in damp conditions. But if you find yourself facing a moisture issue, give this method a try!

IRL Moves

Since we are in sim-mode, IRL moves do not apply to the sim, except for five key exceptions:

1. Players retiring (if they retire IRL, they're out of the sim and cannot be signed),
   
2. Player suspensions (ex: Slava Voynov),
   
3. Transactions involving a foreign professional entering NHL,
   
4. An NHL player signing in another league (ex: Liiga),
   
5. Players being placed on long-term injured reserve.
   

Regarding the 3rd point, if the player announces he is officially returning to the NHL or he signs IRL with an NHL team, then he is available to sign. Until then, he cannot be signed.
Coach hirings/firings, AHL contracts, relocation, etc. are not part of this sim.

Keep it Realistic

You can't be perfect since plenty of teams could go many ways. If your team is clearly rebuilding, you should continue to rebuild and help the process.
Try not to acquire guys just for the purpose of flipping them later. We're not outright banning it since it happens IRL sometimes, but it's super uncommon, especially for bigger names. Rebuilding teams rarely take cap dumps to help out other teams in exchange for late round picks. If it is a fair trade, it can still be accepted. There will need to be incentive for teams to acquire cap dumps. Don't include unnecessary pieces or trade picks too far out (trading picks after 2024 will require a compelling reason). Don't trade the rights to retired players.
We are asking each GM for an initial offseason plan. This plan includes basic things like which direction the team is headed this summer, but with slightly more detail such as whether they will hope to pursue more options via trades or free agency, how they will deal with their cap space (or lack thereof), etc. You will not be able to sign or trade anyone until your plans are submitted and approved. If you wish to amend your plan, submit it via mod mail, including your reasoning for the amendment.

Trades

We realize GMs want to be more active than their real-life counterparts but we will be pretty strict on allowing trades in the sim. When you submit a trade or signing, both parties must send the trade in to the office of the commissioner (via mod mail). You also must include a justification as to why the trade makes sense for your party including how it will affect the cap, lineup and future roster decisions. Please use the below template. All players, picks, additional terms, rights to players, and salary retention amounts must be specified and identical in both parties' submissions.
Before making a trade, we encourage you to find multiple comparable trades which will convince us that the trade is realistic. Please do not compare each trade to the Matt Duchene to Ottawa trade and say "Well, it's more realistic than that one".
We will do our best to announce the trades right away as they come in. Do not post pending trades in other threads until they are posted. Please allow us at least 24 hours to approve trades and for graphics to be prepared.
Try not to blow your load, especially on the first day. Be patient, especially with trades. Just try. You'll thank us later. Those who follow this advice usually will find incredible bargains and can take advantage of other GM's mistakes.

Goal: The Rangers are looking to add depth for a playoff push. The Canucks are looking to acquire future assets for a player on an expiring contract.
Justification: The Rangers are solidly in a playoff position and are looking to buy at the deadline. Motte can fill a 4th line role.
Comparables: SEA traded Mason Appleton to WPG for a 2023 4th before the 2022 TDL. MTL traded Nick Cousins to VGK for a 2021 4th before the 2020 TDL.
Other options pursued: The Rangers also tried to acquire Derick Brassard and Vladislav Namestnikov, but were unable to make a deal work.
Long-term implications: The Rangers are willing to give up a mid-round pick to add depth now.

No-Trade/No-Movement Clauses

These will be handled by TBD. If you wish to trade a player with a No-Trade or No-Movement Clause, you must message them, requesting a list of teams a player can or cannot be traded to, or if a player would be willing to waive his No-Movement Clause. Please give them at least 24 hours to fulfill such requests.

Trading UFA Rights

We have tried this in the past and some agents felt obligated to have the UFA sign in the city that acquired the players' rights. We feel it would be best if every team gets a fair chance so this year we will NOT be allowing trading for UFA rights. This will also hopefully lead to fewer trades and more UFA signings.
Additionally, we will not allow you to sign and trade UFAs or pending UFAs.

Conditional Picks

You cannot trade picks with conditions, with some exceptions:

• Lottery protection
• Higheloweetc. of multiple picks in a given round
• Settling scenarios based on previous trade conditions

We realize it happens in real life, but it is hard to track from experience and hopefully it will cut down on the amount of unnecessary trade conditions.

Unfair Value

To avoid exploitation and chaos in the trade market, we sometimes need to step in to preserve the sim's integrity. This may be somewhat subjective, so the trade committee will discuss and vote on most trades. Your trade will go through more smoothly if you provide ample justification and can offer comparable trades. Some common issues include:

• Undervaluing cap space or salary - Since there is no real money involved in this simulation and no accountability to owners or future cap issues, people can undervalue these assets. Please provide examples of comparable trades.
• Undervaluing future draft picks - Similarly, since there is no accountability within the sim for these assets, unnecessarily adding late draft picks or too high draft picks can be problematic. Again, provide examples of comparable trades.
• Differing opinions on the value of players or prospects - These usually will go through, but may require further explanation.

Vetoes

sandman730, meatb4ll, and TBD are gonna be the “veto panel” and we are gonna take it very seriously. If the vote is unanimous 3-0 either way, then we will accept/reject the trade or signing. If it is 2-1 either way, then we will ask TBD for their opinions and votes. We will then come to a decision with the majority winning. There are a number of reasons why a trade or signing may be vetoed by the trade committee:

Entry Draft

Rounds 1-3 of the draft will take place on the chat channel on Fri. June 23rd at 8pm ET. We kindly ask that everyone attends this in the chat since it will go a lot smoother not having to wait for GMs and it is one of the most exciting parts of the sim in terms of trades and activity. This is the one day we hope to have all GMs and AGMs alike participate since we require your cooperation. Draft day trades involving players/prospects must be submitted 24 hours before the start of the draft (Thu. June 22nd at 8pm ET). Trades made during the draft (involving draft picks) must be submitted via DM to the commissioners.
On Sat. June 24th at 2pm ET, we will host Rounds 4-7 for those who would like to participate. It is not mandatory, you will just be auto-picked if you don’t show up. There will not be any trading allowed for this portion of the draft.
If a GM cannot make it either night, you are welcome to appoint an AGM to draft for the team, submit a custom auto-draft list, or respect our auto-draft list (Bob McKenzie, then Future Considerations). Please confirm this via mod mail or (if mid-draft) via DM to the commissioners.
Please make your selections as promptly as possible to ensure the draft runs smoothly for everyone. Do not delay your selection to make a meme/image (you are welcome to post them afterwards). We will allow 2 min per selection for Rounds 1-3 and 1 min for Rounds 4-7. Each team will be allowed a 2 min timeout (one per team). We also will take a brief intermission (~10 min) between rounds.
If you wish to draft players not listed on the Elite Prospects Draft Board, you must petition the commissioners via mod mail before the start of the draft.

Qualifying Offers

GMs will need to submit a list of who they are sending Qualifying Offers to, among RFAs, and who they are letting test free agency (becoming UFAs). We will have a thread for this and they will be due by Sun. June 25th at 5pm ET (don’t pull a Dale Tallon). If you have further questions about this process, read about it in the CBA post and message a commissioner or leave a comment if you have further questions.

Free Agency

We will have 3 RFA agents and 4 UFA agents who have chosen the clients they will represent. Not every RFA/UFA will need an agent and you can find the lists on the spreadsheet, but generally, if the player played 15+ NHL games last season, he will require an agent. For the rest of the RFAs (those marked "Commissioners"), if they were qualified both in the sim and IRL, we will wait until they get an IRL contract and match it in the sim; if they were only qualified in the sim, they will be signed for their qualifying offers. For the rest of the UFAs, message the commissioners (via mod mail) with a contract offer. Please include a justification as to why the signing makes sense for your party including, for GMs, how it will affect the cap, lineup and future roster decisions. Please use the below template.
When both a GM and agent have come to a finalized deal, both sides need to submit the contract offer to the mods (via mod mail).
This contract offer must include the cap hit, term, any no-trade clauses, and any performance bonuses. Please keep it realistic as it could cause a domino effect when using comparables.
There will be the possibility for offer sheets, however, right now we are not sure the best way to determine who the player would actually pick. Ideas are encouraged. That being said, it’s more likely a player would choose a contender, hometown, long contract, good place in the lineup, or high salary rather than just picking at random. We also want to mention how rare offer sheets are in real life.
Agents have been sworn under the Oath of Bettman that they will be honest, realistic, and of course fun.
NHL CBA contract rules apply (more information here). Signing a player in free agency and then trading the player is prohibited.

Justification: While Roslovic had an excellent 2020-21 season, he regressed in 2021-22. A short term deal allows him to demonstrate that he can continue to be a valuable player without hamstringing us with a burdensome contract should he underperform.
Comparables: Ryan Spooner signed with NYR for 2yr x $4M in the 2018 offseason. Chris Tierney signed with OTT for 2yr x $3.5M in the 2020 offseason. Ryan Strome signed with NYR for 2yr x $4.5M in the 2020 offseason.
Other options pursued: None, Roslovic was a RFA that we wished to keep.
Long-term implications: While this contract will walk Roslovic to UFA status, we hope that he continues to perform well and we are able to sign a more long-term extension with him once Voracek's contract is off our books.

Extensions

Players with one year remaining on a multi-year contract are also eligible for extensions. We are allowing each team to extend one such player, provided the AAV is over $6M. Message the Commissioners (via mod mail) with a competitive offer, and an explanation for why you want to extend the player.

GM vs Assistant GM

The GM is the one who makes the final decisions and who other GMs should message. You are encouraged to speak to anyone including Assistants, but for trades and updates on where they stand, please contact the GMs. The assistants are here to serve as a second opinion, fill in on things the GM might have made unclear, and ultimately serve as backups in case the GM needs to be replaced, for example on draft day.

Respect

PLAY NICE. If people act like dicks in trade/FA negotiations, particularly in agreeing to something and then going back on their word, PM the admins and we'll take care of it. Repeat offenders will get removed from the sim. Racism, homophobia, and other forms of bigotry will not be tolerated. No politics.

I was talking to my cousin about how occasionally I get on Amazon to look at deals they have on Chemical Guys bundles (I’m newer to auto detailing) and before I can even say another word, he said “Ope. Bad product”. I asked what made him say that and he said “Their products don’t do what they are advertised as and they aren’t even for what they are advertised for”. So I asked what he used and he’s like “I just use a power washer and then Windex and household cleaners on the inside”.
So with that all being said, is Chemical Guys really bad products? Are there better, other alternatives? Or is he just talking out his ass? Lmao

I am attempting to follow the examples from Adafruit on how to display bitmaps from a SD Card on this TFT screen. I am using the example code from the Adafruit ImageReader Library called Breakout ST7735 - 160 x 128. However, all I get is a blank white screen.

I have made edits to the code since my goal is to just get an image to appear on the screen. No looping or changing of imagery.
I got the wiring test to work eventually, so I believe my wiring is correct. I did have to make changes to the code to get this to work, so maybe I am missing something on bitmaps from an SD?

My husband and I will be moving to London at the start of September for my postgraduate study at KCL. I'm not sure what campuses l'Il be studying at specifically. Given my program though, I expect to be at Strand and Denmark Hill. I'm an international student, so l'm not exactly sure where I could get the most bang for my buck. We don't plan on renting in Central London given the cost. Ideally, I don't want my commute to be more than 40 minutes and our budget per month for rent is about £1.6k. We only need a 1 bedroom and an on-site washedryer. You don't have to list specific flats here or anything! We'd just like to know where we should be looking to rent. Thanks. :)

Hey guys so I(F25) just sublet a room for the summer until September. I saw this cheap room available with alot of perks (offstreet parking, 2 sets of free laundry, and close walking distance to the train station - a unicorn in the city!). My roomie Andrew (M/31) showed me the room and he was kinda weird looking around but I thought he had autism or just harmless weird. He showed me the room and explained the last person just packed up and left on the second day without a word because he thought the room would be furnished and it wasn't (red flag??). That kinda raised an alarm in my head but I needed to move from my slumlord situation I was in. I told my friends to see if I should pass on it but they said even though that is a red flag, the room and perks were nice that I should take it and will renew and ignore them if they're weird. A few hours later, he texted me that (Marvin/2nd roommate) wants my room and already started moving in his stuff and will also renew in that room (Andrew said the room has been open since March and I looked at the room maybe 6 days after the last person ran out but Marvin never cared for the room. (No one speaks to each other so no one knew if anyone was renewing - another red flag) so I have to look at the other room If I'm still interested (red flag).
I was pissed but my friends said its weird but just dont speak to Marvin at all so I came back the next day and the room seemed clean, it still had some of his furniture laid down in places but the room looked ok so I took it. I wasn't supposed to move in for a whole month but once I showed up on the first day to bring in my check and backpack, the now empty room had multiple large vomit and other(??) stains on the carpeted floor, the furniture he left behind was on purpose was to cover up the stains so I would move into that (red flag). I raised hell with the LL and he wasn't aware and called Marvin who took my room (because he created the stains and purposefully didn't tell the LL so they wouldn't clean it in advance). LL apologized for the room and sent cleaners the next day but I had to sleep over my friends house for 3 days until it dried. FYI I never met Marvin at all but he saw me walking in from outside to check the first room so he knows what I look like. He's gone atm but sent me a long crazy passive aggressive text (given by Andrew without my consent) saying welcome to our home and "hope I enjoy his room" and just nutty shit so I'm a bit uneasy on him and dont plan to renew just based on that whole ordeal.
On my first day staying here (slept at my friends, worked and came here straight from after work), I hauled all of my stuff that had to sit in the hallways, basement, and my car for the prior 3 days because the floor was soaking wet (took me like 5ish hrs). Andrew's room/door is set up in a way that he can see people coming in and out, his bed faces towards out the door and his door is always cracked open juuusst enough to see you but you cant see him. He was watching me haul everything up three flights of narrow stairs and it kinda irked me that he didn't help (I know he's NOT expected to and I shouldn't feel entitled to have help but I found out after he was snooping through my things (red flag) while I wasn't around so I'm like either be involved or completely back off from my things. He would also crank up the oven, which made the house a sauna and refuse to open the windows while I was moving stuff up 3 flight of stairs and sweating buckets from the heat he was causing (thought it was a coincidence and not overthink it) - I cracked open a window when he was done and went back in his room to eat to help the house cool down because I was still moving things [with no malice] (but this pissed him off and took great offense to it). He has a personal freezer chest and takes over the entire communal fridge and freezer with multiple almost empty boxes of the same frozen foods. I nicely asked him and another roommate (Greg - very helpful and chill, made me freezer space, doesnt use the fridge at all, doesnt leave his room unless its for the bathroom or leave the house) for freezefridge space because I dont want to be the new person touching peoples things off the bat. Greg understood but Andrew didn't move anything and placed his food on top of mine in the freezer after the fact as a passive aggressive thing. He stayed hidden in his room watching me while I was moving things but once I was done - he always comes out of his room when im out but I thought it was just a coincidence since ppl live and move around their home but it kept getting weird/creepy since he didnt do the same with Greg. I finally got to cook for the first time around 10pm and when I had my food cooking and go to do my laundry in the basement, he would run into the kitchen nonstop to see what I'm cooking once he heard me cooking from scratch and check my food timer to how long until its done expecting to eat my food.
With the weird shit adding up, Something in my spirit just told me before to even start cooking to make only one serving of food for the night and not leave anything in the communal fridge for leftovers and stick to my mini fridge. While I was doing my laundry, I came up real quick to check on something, I saw him opening all of the windows in the house (the side window was still open and it wasnt hot or smelled), he jumped and ran off like he got caught in the act (wtf?). I was totally creeped out and figured he was pissed from me opening the one window earlier and wanted to get back at me but he was hoping I wouldn't come back so quick so I wouldn't know who did it. Once my food was done, I immediately cleaned my pots and took it to my room with my food. Once I got to my room, he ran back to the kitchen hoping I would've left some leftovers there for him to eat. Once I finished eating and washing my dishes, he left his dishes in the sink expecting I would wash them but I just washed mine and left it on the table to pick it up on my way from grabbing my laundry. Once I got to the laundry room to pick up my dry clothes, I walked up the steps to find out he locked me out of the house because he was pissed there wasn't any food for him and saw my dishes were clean and waiting on the table. I had to knock on the door and he quickly ran down, staring at my feet and made no eye contact the entire time (wearing flipflops) saying "ohhh I didn't know you were down there" (he knew and I had a laundry bag propping the door open), I said was it you that locked out me out? he was like oh yea I had no idea you were even down there and just to be safe, I locked it. FYI the way the stairs loudly creaks, how the tiny house layout is you that know what is going on/who is where and he can see you leaving the bedroom area from his door.
Being so creeped out and haven't even been there a full day/not even unpacked, I immediately got up early next morning to finish washing my blankets and beddings and then went to home depot to change my doorknob to have a lock on the outside. While I had everything in the washer and went to HD quick, when I came back to put things in the dryer, his laundry bag is put out in front of the washer as in a "get a move on/ive been waiting all day" way. I moved my stuff to the dryer and left the washers open as a way to let him open its available and immediately went to my room to switch the knobs. Ever since that morning (9am) hes been propped up in the living room (no tv) loudly having conversations to himself and laughing to himself (not like casual oh roomie watching something but like full-blown conversations and full on belly/screaming laughter). He camped in the living room so long, I figured hes been waiting to watch me cook breakfast and to intimidate me into giving him my food so I had to make lunch in my room (unfortunately Ill have to cook everything in my room from now on and IF I need the stove/oven, Ill have to stay there and not leave my food unattended).
Once I came down at like 3p, to wash my dishes, he still kept his dishes from before there from last night but added more on top of the sink hole for me to have to acknowledge it and to wash it like you ""forgot this+do it"" while hes right next to me in the living room (kitchen and living room are close together). I pushed it to the side and washed my dishes and went back into my room. I stayed in my room for a few hrs until I had to leave for a friends party but as I was getting ready to leave, he loudly started clashing dishes around, slamming the soap bottle on the table and loudly scrubbing showing in a way that hes pissed that he had to wash them and "look at what your making me do" passive aggressive thing (Greg has been gone for a few hrs already). Andrew and Greg don't speak at all (no one here talks to each other but I know why now) and he keeps his door closed and solely operates by his minifridge and has a couch in his room so he doesn't have to interact with Andrew.
Once I left for my friends bday party, Andrew car was gone - once I got back at night, as soon as I got up the stairs, I had my brother call me to talk to me on speakerphone to show a male presence - I heard Andrew run as hard as he could into his room (he was waiting for me because I left without him knowing and thought I had an actual guy with me so he got scared). Once I got to my room and hung up, as soon as I leave my room, he noticed it was just a call and he left "casually whistling" and staring at me and went downstairs. This has been my second day here (first full day) and hes extremely passive aggressive/crazy hoping I would be his maid, live-in gf and cook and lashing out. I told my family and friends but I don't think they truly get it since theyre not physically here experiencing it. Im not planning on renewing and hope to move out in august (just first and last) and renew somewhere else that's all girls because this is traumatizing. (Andrew is 100% leaving in August for work but this will be a rough summer and I haven't even met Marvin yet but I know hes off his rocker too).
Any advice???

This week we’re going to explore the theme of ‘war’. Wars come in all sizes, they can be between worlds, countries, families, or just two people. Or between two sides of a movement or belief system. But in every battle, the effect touches many more than just those directly involved. It often has a ripple effect.
So what are the two sides? What are they fighting for? What does winning mean to them? How will a war between the two parties affect the world around them? Will relationships and alliances be put to the test? What does the fallout look like?
These are just a few things to get you started. Remember, the theme should be present within the story in some way, but its interpretation is completely up to you. For the bonus words (not required), you may change the tense, but the base word should remain the same. Please remember to follow all sub and post rules.

• Submit a story inspired by the weekly theme, set in your self-established universe. Use wordcounter.net to check your wordcount. Stories should be posted as a top-level comment below. If you’re continuing an in-progress serial (not on Serial Sunday), please include links to your previous installments.
  
• Your chapter must be submitted by Saturday at 9:00am EST. Late entries will be disqualified.
  
• Begin your post with the name of your serial between triangle brackets (e.g. ). This will allow our serial bot to recognize your serial and add each chapter to the SerSun catalog. Do not include anything in the brackets you don’t want in your title. (Please note: You must use this same title every week.)
  
• Do not pre-write your serial. You’re welcome to do outlining and planning for your serial, but chapters should not be pre-written. All submissions should be written for this post, specifically.
  
• Only one active serial per author at a time. This does not apply to serials written outside of Serial Sunday.
  
• All Serial Sunday authors must leave feedback on at least one story on the thread each week. The feedback should be actionable and include something the author has done well.
