Flights from chicago to fort myers

Lol I know this is such a long shot but figured I’d ask in here. My brother and I were headed home from the caverns yesterday when his car broke down (needs a new engine) so now we’re trying to figure out how to get back to chicago. Anyone happen to have room for 2 people and headed north? We will pitch in for gas and just have our duffel bags.
We’re looking into getting a rental car but aren’t 25, and everywhere is closed today so we are SOL. We also have friends we can crash with in St. Louis or Champaign if anyone is headed that way.

I know it's card heavy, but that's what I'm most practiced with and it keeps the pockets lite.

Age: 23. Sex: Male. Height: 5"8. Weight:125 pounds. Duration of Complaint: 3 years. Medication: Auvelity and Geodon.
For the past 3 years I've been dealing with Emotional Numbness and Sexual Dysfunction that all began after an intense and chronic episode of stress, depression, and anxiety. My body and brain was constantly in fight or flight mode and then one day all of a sudden everything just seemed to shut down and things haven't been the same since.
Regarding the Sexual Dysfunction, I have Erectile Dysfunction. My erection quality has significantly diminished. I no longer wake up in the morning with an erection, I can't get an erection or maintain one, and I don't get random erections anymore.
My sex drive is also gone. I used to have a very high sex drive. I no longer feel sexual attraction, desire, thoughts, etc. I no longer have an urge to have sex or even masturbate.
I've also noticed that I have reduced sensation to my penis. When I try to stimulate it, it just feels dead.
With the Emotional Numbness, my emotions are severely blunted. I can't feel arousal, I can't feel adrenaline, I can't laugh like I used to, I can't feel euphoria, etc. I also can no longer feel stress hormones. I can no longer feel the sensation of my heart beating out of my chest when I am in adrenaline inducing sensations.
The Emotional Blunting and the Sexual Dysfunction have been the most bothersome symptoms, but other symptoms I have noticed in addition to this are: I don't have an appetite, I have muscle tension, and I also have brain fog/head pressure.
I believe that episode of intense stress, anxiety, and depression caused inflammation to my brain and body that has been difficult to reverse.
I've had my Hormones checked via blood. My Cortisol in the morning was pretty elevated. I had an ACTH Stimulation Test done, but it actually revealed my Cortisol was a bit lower than it should be. My Endocrinologist had me take Hydrocortisone for 8 weeks, but I felt no difference.
I also had an MRI of my Brain and Pituitary Gland and both were normal.
I am currently seeing a Functional Medicine Doctor and he ordered further testing including a Cortisol Saliva Test and a 24 Hour Dried Urine Test.
These were the abnormalities noted from my blood tests:
1) My Vitamin D was insufficient. The value was 28.3: Reference Range: 31.0 -80.0 ng/mL.
2) My White Blood Cell Count was low. The value was 3.52. Reference Range: 4.00 - 11.00 K/uL
3) My Vitamin A was high. The value was 62.5. Reference Range: 18.9 - 57.3 ug/dL
4) My Estradiol was high. The value was 49 pg/mL. Reference Range: < OR = 39 pg/mL
4) I had an Essential Fatty Acid Deficiency.
5) I had an Increased Insulin Level.
6) My Vitamin B6 was on the lower side.
7) My Testosterone levels were normal. They were listed at 872 ng/dL. Reference Range: 250-1100 ng/dL.
8) My Free Testosterone was a little high. It was listed at 160.2 pg/mL. Reference Range: 35.0 - 155.0 pg/mL.
9) My Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) was high. It was listed at 98 ng/dL. Reference Range: 12-65 ng/dL.
10 Cortisol, A.M. was slightly elevated via blood. It was listed at 22.3 mcg/dL. Reference Range 8 A.M. (7-9 A.M.) Specimen: 4.0-22.0.
I also had a 24 Hour Dried Urine Test and Saliva Test that revealed the following:
1) b-Pregnanediol was below range. The value was 32.0 ng/mg. Normal Range: 75-400.
2) a- Pregnanediol was on the low end of range. The value was 31.4 ng/mg. Normal Range: 20-130.
3) Estradiol (E2) was above the range. The value was 2.2 ng/mg. Normal Range: 0.50-2.2.
4) Estriol (E3) was above the range. The value was 10.6 ng/mg. Normal Range: 2-8.
5) 4-OH-E1 was above the range. The value was 0.8 ng/mg. Normal Range: 0-0.8.
6) Total Estrogen was above the range. The value was 34.8 ng/mg. Normal Range: 10-34.
7) 2-Methoxy-E1 was on the high end of range. The value was 2.34 ng/mg. Normal Range: 0-2.8.
8) Androsterone was above the range. The value was 3157.0 ng/mg. Normal Range: 500-3000.
9) 5b-Androstanediol was on the high end of range. The value was 244.6 ng/mg. Normal Range: 40-250.
10) Saliva Cortisol - Waking (W) Was above the range. The value was 6.3 ng/mL. Normal Range: 1.6 - 4.6.
11) Saliva Cortisol - W+30 min was on the low end of range. The value was 3.96 ng/mL. Normal Range: 3.7 - 8.2.
12) Saliva Cortisol - W+60 min was below the range. The value was 2.2 ng/mL. Normal Range: 2.3 - 5.3.

His Nurse Practitioner ordered other blood tests for further investigation and accuracy including:
• CBC and differential • Vitamin A and Metabolite • Hemoglobin A1c • Estradiol • Cortisol • Free Testosterone Evaluation • Pregnenolone • DHEAS • Dihydrotestosterone • Basic Metabolic Profile • Lipid Profile
The Nurse Practitioner gave me three supplement recommendations:
1) OmegaGenics® EPA-DHA 1000 (60 Softgels) (Metagenics): Please take 1 gel, once / day.
2) Vitamin D3 2500iu (100 Softgels) (Jarrow Formulas): Please take 1 gel, once / day.
3) B6/B1 Plus Zinc (90 capsules) (Biotics Research): Please take 1 capsule, once / day.
I am also currently seeing a Psychiatrist. I've tried Wellbutrin starting at 150MG, then 300MG, and then 400MG to no avail. I then tried Rexulti along with the Wellbutrin and it didn't help. I then tried Trintellix and that didn't help. He put me on Auvelity for 8 weeks and I felt no difference. He is currently having me take a low dose of Geodon along with the Auvelity for the last 4 weeks. So far not much of a difference.
This is where I stand right now. I am still investigating and working with my Psychiatrist as well as my Functional Medicine Practitioner.
I just wanted to know what do you guys think about my test results as it correlates with my symptoms?

My wife and I are going to Cuba in July with 2 friends . I wanted to share my itinerary with this group for thoughts and a few questions/thoughts!

• Day 1 (Wednesday)- Land in Havana (around 1500), move to Vinales
• Day 2 (Thursday) - Vinales Valley tour (Horseback riding, tobacco tour, etc) during the day. Afternoon walk through the town of Vinales
• Day 3 (Friday) - TBD, either another day in the valley (potentially visit Cuevo De Santa Tomas, or go ziplining in the valley) and head to Havana in the afternoon or head to Havana in the morning and spend the day in Havana. At night- explore banightclub scene in the vedado area (we are staying there)
• Day 4 (Saturday)- Morning: Vedado walking tour, Mojito Making Class, and in the evening go to Fabrique De Arte
• Day 5 (Sunday)- Tour Old Havana + El Morro
• Day 6 (Monday)- Vintage car tour, potentially find a salsa class, Dinner at La Guarida
• Day 7 (Tuesday)- Move to varadero in the morning; we are staying in a casa particular near the town; likely will explore the town or spend the afternoon on the beach on this day
• Day 8 (Wednesday)- Catamaran tour to Cayo Blanco with snorkeling
• Day 9 (Thursday)- beach day
• Day 10 (Friday)- Head back to Havana in the morning and leave cuba (flight leaves at 1630)

A few questions on the above!

• Transportation- what's the easiest options to get to/from Vinales and to/from Varadero? What should we expect to pay? Sounds like if you book a bus you have to do it in advance, and it ends up not being much cheaper than a taxi, especially since there are 4 of us. FYI, My casa particular host quoted us $25 per person per way for the taxi to/from Vinales
• Any opinions on whether we should spend another 1/2 day in Vinales to see the Caves / do something else, or would that time be better spent in Havana?
• I know some latin american countries have very little going on on sundays. Should we expect any issues with Havana shops/restaurants/etc being closed on the Sunday we are there?
• Cuban SIM Card- is it worth buying a Cuban SIM card? I've heard that there are tourist versions of the SIM now but that they are expensive relative to just paying for the internet cards.
• Will any of the touristy style events that I listed in the itinerary need to be booked in advance? Or will we be able to book once there?
• Any big issues with the above itinerary? i.e. travel times that aren't realistic, etc?
• Any of the things I don't have planned in the three places mentioned that you would say are "must do's"? Note we don't plan on adding more destinations given we want to take our time a bit and not feel rushed going from town to town

For context on booking things in advance, My wife is Mexican and one of the other couple coming with us is Bolivian, so we don't anticipate any issues with language barriers. Also my bolivian friend loves to haggle/negotiate, so I think unless its cheaper to book things in advance or if we are at risk of not being able to find what we need/want to do, we'd prefer to book in Cuba.

Like who’s inbox from her team do I need to flood with requests for some solo shows in the states? It’s cool that she’s performing at all but I hate festivals and would drop mad coin to see Lana by herself. Even if it was just a handful of the routine select big city run (LA, Chicago, NY, Atlanta, Seattle) I would make one of them work.
The production at festivals is always subpar, the fans are a hot mess and everyone’s at the mercy of the weather. Although I realize the festivals pay her pretty well, I’d sell an organ for a solo tour (hell even just one show)

So I’m kinda new, have ~20 hours as a solo player, and I recently found two people through discord and open crew that I now play with regularly, and it has been one of the best multiplayer experiences ever, up there with DRG (ROCK AND STONE TO THE BONE). This game is fun by itself but it is so much more fun with a crew that you know.

1. The sailing in this game is breathtakingly beautiful. Something about the waves and the way the ships move is something I have never experienced before
   
2. There is so much to do in this game now that I have a crew. As we are sailing we get distracted really fast. The last play session we started doing a gold hoarder voyage, but then someone suggested that we try a fort of the damned. We spent a long time setting it up after finding out that it wasn’t something we just press a button to activate. It was so much fun, and the loot was awesome as well.
   
3. PvP is a lot of fun with a crew. When I am solo, I mostly avoid other players because I’m not great at PvP. But after we did the fort, we had a lot of ships chasing us and the naval battles were epic to say the least.
   

I really encourage all new players to look for some people to play with, it opens up so much of the game and makes it from a pretty good game to absolutely amazing.

I'm hoping to get some recommendations on any books, workbooks, podcasts, online courses, etc that is intended for couples and has been legitimately helpful to you. In an ideal world, we'd get right into couples counseling. But since insurance doesn't cover that, and we've already had to make financial sacrifices to both keep our individual therapy going, its just not a feasible option right now. That's still eventually the goal as I know a book can't solve everything, but I'm thinking it could be a low cost option to get some tips and strategies for now. Its just hard to know from the huge amount of relationship advice content where to even start.

Any and all suggestions are welcome, but I'll also be more specific on the particular issues we're having. TDLR below. We're GF and BF, living together, in our 30s. We need help figuring out how to communicate with each other when there's a conflict, and stop the stupid fights. I want to immediately emphasize that the relationship isn't abusive in any way- there's no violence, manipulation, threats, or even name calling. But a disagreement can tip over into a heated discussion, to yelling, to storming off and not talking for the rest of the night, to come back the next day and both apologize for how stupid we were. We both have anxiety and past traumas, so I think the issue is that when a discussion turns into a heated one, we both get triggered and go into a fight or flight mode and we're not thinking rationally anymore. So a fight can be about the big things, but it can also be due to embarrassingly little things that are not worth fighting about. It doesn't happen very often, but when it does its so draining and pointless that I would like it to never happen again. We both hate that we do this but it doesn't seem like we can figure out how to fix it on our own. We certainly didn't see any examples of healthy conflict resolution from our parents growing up, I'm sure he would agree.

I (F23) went and visted my partner (M23) and his family for the weekend. We haven’t moved out just yet we are trying to find a place but know where we want to go. During my stay it was just the usual hostility from his mother however I just tolerated it and bit my tongue. My partner and I are planning to move to another state next year approximately a 1 hour flight / 14 hr drive from where his family currently live.
When his mom found out about this she said “you can’t take my son away” “you better not try and take my son away” and would say things like “your the one putting this idea into his head, he has a perfect life where he is with his friends and job” It made me super uncomfortable and unhappy because we are really looking forward to moving interstate and thought his family would be happy for us too. It’s made me feel unusual about going ahead with the move because I know there’s more being said behind the scenes.
She can be a super horrible person literally for no reason, it’s not what she says it’s how she says it. Example We asked her if we could borrow one (of her 4) cars and she said yes, when she found out I had driven the car she said to my partner “why would you let her drive it, she can’t drive. You should have driven it since your the better driver. It’s a $20k car.”, he took it as a joke and said “she’s a better driver than you!” And she got so insanely offended and said “no she actually isn’t . She’s not to drive it again” It was so awkward for me! I understand what she’s saying but Oh my god so awkward to say while I’m sitting right there.

I've got pretty much everything set for my trip next year with my sister except flights. I'm in Maine and was planning on flying out of Boston (I could fly out of PWM but it's just as easy to take the train or have my brother in law drive us down). Those of you who visited Thailand from the east coast, what airlines did you like the best/ have the best experience with? What layover country would you recommend? How was your jet lag? Any general tips or advice for booking such a long flight?

So my dad (56M) has always struggled with anger issues and managing that but has never gone to therapy for it or his childhood traumas from being too stubborn. But because of this he has a tendency to withhold his anger during his work due to professionalism and because he doesn’t wanna trigger his employee who struggles mentally. But when he comes home he usually throws that pent up rage and frustration out on me but especially my mom.
He’s never been physical, but even from a young age (and present day) he “jokingly” threatens to hit my mom and me - but this is isn’t as common as it was a few years ago. My mom (53F) has never had the confidence to fully blast back at her when they fight, and if/when she does it can be stressful for her and me. This has been a common thing from a young age that I truly believe has partially traumatised both me and my older sister (25F). It’s to the point where growing up and even now, I can’t stand being yelled at or being around anyone angry because it sends me into fight or flight and usually an anxiety attack. It stresses me out and frustrates me to the verge of tears because I can’t cope.
My sister as she got older took most of the heat and could fight back and sometimes actually reason with him. But because I lack confidence because he genuinely scares me sometimes, it feels like I’m treading on eggshells when around him - I can’t fight back (or won’t fight back). I just deal with it and I’m usually not healthy ways, I’ve gotten better at dealing with it but it’s still difficult.
He very VERY rarely apologises - but he mostly tries changing the conversation, walking away, yelling at us or ignoring the situation and pretending it didn’t happen. If he gets pissed off and he takes the dogs out on a walk he sometimes throws his anger on the dogs (we have 2 Labradors both still under a year old) and hits them when me and my mother aren’t around. He still loves them but he lets his emotions get the better of him, this was still frequent with our last dog for a few years.
I think I’ve lost track on how many times this year alone I’ve said “I hate you” when talking about him to myself after he’s done something to set himself then me off. He’s fighting more with my mom and I hate it, this year. And I don’t wanna deal with this. I’m looking forward to getting my school stuff done and moving out of this house. I just want to escape and I wish my mom never stud with this man. I understand he never really had a parental figure growing up because they were abusive in more ways than one and his bio father moved away when he was 3. So his anger stems from childhood but it’s no excuse.
It’s cruel to say this I know but I’m sick of it : I barely see him as a father now, just financial support and a biological parent until I can move. I love him because I have to, and I can’t stand being around him for a long time without feeling rage. I confine myself to my room because I wanna avoid him and it makes me seem sad and lonely but I don’t care, I just wanna be away from him. He angers me to severe heights.

    In the past there were many Walled Cities, more than the six we have today. The first to be built is much contested, and any [Scholar] who gives a definitive answer is assuredly lying, but it is well-known that Salazsar is the youngest, starting out as a mining town so-to-speak. Sadly, several of the original Walled Cities have fallen, the causes of which are also much debated, but from those that fell was a Walled City that stood out from the rest, so great it was that all traces were wiped from history, until I happened to uncover them. A Walled City to rise above all other Walled Cities, more impervious than Manus, more magical than Fissival, a lust for gold to rival Salazsar, growth to match Oteslia, fantastical inventions that rival Pallass, and trade-routes greater than Zeres. Let me tell you a story about the fabled Walled City of Walls.
    Originally the Walled City of Walls was a small fort, constructed in the middle of a grassy plain, where a small garrison of [Soldiers] lived. They defended their fort and nearby town with pride, but as they had such a large area to defend, they struggled to stop invaders from going around their fort and attacking the nearby settlement. In those days we did not yet build walls around our cities, and people were constantly threatened from [Bandits] and [Raiders] who sought to pillage and steal! The valiant [Soldiers] did their best to repel the attacks, and defend the plains, but there were just too many [Bandits] and other ne'er-do-wells!
    Then one day a [Mason] stopped outside the fort, and yelled up at the [Soldiers] manning the battlements. He said, "My name is Zezzyzil Wallbuilder! You [Soldiers] have been fighting so hard to protect these lands, I want to help you by building a wall so high that not even dragons can fly over it!"
    His words were ridiculous, but resonated with the tired [Soldiers], who would do anything to stop the invaders, and the [Captain] agreed to let him enter and use spare materials to improve the fort.
    Zezzyzil got to work, and by dawn of the next day, the walls of the fort had grown by five feet. The [Soldiers] were astounded, and they thanked Zezzyzil for his work, but instead of leaving he spoke again, "I have done all I can with the materials you have here, but if you can gather more stone I can expand the walls further!"
    They had seen proof of his Skills, and decided to send a few men to the nearby village to gather more materials.
    The townsfolk trusted the [Soldiers] who had protected them time and time again, and rushed to gather whatever they could for the project. Stone was taken from abandoned houses and carted over to the fort, where soon a large pile sat in the courtyard. The top of the pile was as tall as the fort's walls, and was everything the villagers could spare. Once again Zezzyzil got to work, and by dawn of the next day a wall ran through the plains, dividing it in half.
    The villagers went to see the result of Zezzyzil's hard work, and were amazed with what he had accomplished, but before they could cheer, the [Mayor] of the town approached Zezzyzil and begged, "Oh great Zezzyzil, you are clearly of a high Level, and have done so much for all of us! I will pay you what little gold I have, and I feel ashamed to ask, but if I give you all the stone from my house, will you expand the walls further?"
    His offer shocked the [Soldiers] and the townsfolk. Zezzyzil thought for a moment, rubbing a claw against his chin, and then replied, "You are willing to sacrifice your own home for the good of your people, I admire your noble spirit, and so I agree and will take the stone to expand the wall."
    The [Mayor] laughed with delight, handing a bag of gold to Zezzyzil, and returned to the town to tear down his house and cart the stone over. However, word spread of his deed, and by the time he returned there was a pile larger than the one before, sitting outside of the fort, behind the new wall. All of the villagers had taken the stone from their homes and brought it there, for Zezzyzil to use, for being safe from [Bandits] was better than comfort.
    As before, night passed, and by dawn an even larger wall had been built, surrounding what used to be the village. The townsfolk no longer had homes, and had all crowded into the small fort, which was now safe from [Bandits]. Zezzyzil did not leave, as they thought he would, and instead chose to stay with the [Soldiers] and [Villagers] and help them maintain the walls and further expand them.
    Time passed, and gradually more Drakes moved into the fort, seeking shelter and safety behind the large walls. Eventually, the fort turned into a small city, and one day Zezzyzil left when it was clear the citizens could continue maintaining the walls without him. The citizens threw him a parade and lavished him with gifts, and then Zezzyzil was gone, followed by a stream of flower petals and coin.
    The town had not had an attack in years, but still kept expanding the walls, using knowledge that Zezzyzil had given them. By now the walls surrounded the entire plain, constantly being built taller and taller, thicker and thicker. Quarries were dug where more stone could be excavated, and expeditions were sent to a nearby mountain to get more material for the construction.
    As the town was safe and growing, [Merchants] started to pass by, bringing with them goods from faraway lands, bringing the city great fortune, turning it into a local hub for trade. A few clever [Merchants] took note of the citizens peculiar tradition, and started to sell the city more stone and wood for their work.
    The walls by now were almost one hundred feet tall, and the city grew more prosperous the taller they became. It became common for ordinary buildings to look fortified, with ramparts, crenels, and merlons on even homes of the poor, stylized after the walls that protected them. But the good times were not to last, and a group of [Bandits] had heard of the city, and worked in secret to undermine its defenses.
    The [Bandits] knew that even though the walls looked imposing, they had no enchantments to strengthen them, and so they observed from afar until at last they discovered a weakness in a section of the walls. Like lightning they rushed towards the city, but no alarms sounded, and no [Watchmen] yelled out. They had gotten too comfortable, too used to their safety, and thought that it would just be another group of [Raiders] breaking themselves upon the walls.
    The damage to the city and its populace were horrible, and although the [Soldiers] and [Guards] managed to beat the [Bandits] back, they were shaken. The walls were not as safe as they had thought, and it was only a matter of time before a worse attack occurred.
    The highest Level townsfolk gathered, and pooled their resources together, just like how the original villagers did. Renowned [Enchanters] and [Architects] were hired to teach the townsfolk their ways, and more [Guards] and [Soldiers] were hired to man the walls and keep the city safe.
    By now the town's desire for safety was feverish, every alleyway was surrounded by walls, the streets were lined by walls, the [Guards] lived within the walls. The work of every citizen was related to building walls, expanding walls, and maintaining walls. A school was created to teach citizens how to enchant, so that never again would their walls be damaged.
    The city kept growing and expanding, and by now the walls were five hundred feet tall! People from afar started to call it the Walled City of Walls, and the citizens wore the name with pride, leaning further into their ideals. The first Wall Lords arose, promoted from the original fort garrison for their great work for the city. The mountain they had been mining for stone turned out to be rich with gemstones and other resources, and the Wall Lords used this money to keep expanding the walls and better equip the [Soldiers] and [Guardsmen]. Great gardens were built to feed the city, ensuring that they could live while cut off from the outside world. New construction methods were pioneered to aid with the building of the walls.
    But gradually the attitude of the city started to change. All of the original space within the walls had been used up, and there was nowhere left to build but out. A second wall was built, then a third, then a forth. Decades passed as the city crept past the plains into the forests, swallowing up other villages and towns. And then first war happened.
    The name of the town is unknown, but they were unhappy with the expansion of the Walled City of Walls. They marched their valiant army over, trying to stop the construction and expansion, but the Walled City retaliated with force, and crushed the small town, resettling the villagers and forcing them to join.
    The Walled City of Walls had never attacked anyone before, they had always been a defensive state, and were shocked with how easy it was to crush the small town. One of the Wall Lords proposed that they keep expanding as far as they could, not letting any force stop them. After all, the more the walls expanded, the safer the city was.
    Armies marched, destroying nearby villages and towns, clearing the way for [Masons] and [Geomancers] to come and create more walls. Hundreds of [Woodcutters] cleared forests, making it easier for the walls to be constructed. The city ever grew, and the original walls were now over a thousand feet tall, and still growing. Constant lines of materials were gathered, and any land that wasn't being lived on was mined and carved out. Any stone that wasn't useful for the walls was instead used for decoration and for the construction of smaller houses.
    But word spread of what the city was doing, and it reached Zezzyzil. By now he was an old Drake, over 150, still doing work as a [Mason], trying to help small towns and villages. When he learned what the city was doing he was furious, and returned as quickly as he could. He asked for audience with the Wall Lords, and to his shock, they refused.
    The current Wall Lords were descendants of the original [Soldiers], and none of them knew of Zezzyzil. Zezzyzil found that the city had forgotten him, and not a soul in the city remembered who he was or what he had done for them. He stopped to think, rubbing his claw against his chin, and then that night, he went to work.
    And by dawn of the next day, all of the walls were gone, and in their place stood the original small fort. Without their walls to protect them, many citizens chose to leave and head elsewhere, deciding it would be too much work to rebuild them, instead working to build small walls around other towns. The Wall Lords tried to hold onto what they could, but it was too late. They sat in the peaceful plains, staring at lines that marked where the walls used to be, and left. Thus was the fate of the Walled City of Walls.
