 | Was in the process of making a deal with u/somethingedgyorfunny last night. In the process he/she is busy and tells me they will get with me later on. Time passes and I end up selling the card to someone else. I wake up to a message from u/somethingedgyorfunny stating they sent me money for the card. I check into my stuff (ill need to refund him)and see that I haven't received any payments except for the transaction actually selling the card the previous night. submitted by DatdudeJdub to footballcards [link] [comments] I message u/somethingedgyorfunny to let them know, hey i haven't received anything from you and also the card sold, I was going to refund you but it looks like I didn't receive payment. You will see how that transpired. From what I can gather instead of paying me through the qr code I sent for my cashapp they used my phone number to look up my cashapp ( i have never done that/always confirmed the cashapp name) and sent it to the wrong person. How am I at fault, especially when I give you a link that clearly has a different name than the one you sent the money too? u/somethingedgyorfunny if you see this try to talk to support. They will try to get your money refunded. I'm really sorry this happened to you but I just want to clear my side of things. |

I visited PVR Cinemas Vegas Mall Dwarka for an evening show on 04/06/2023, When I went to the counter to buy a meal (Popcorn+coke), the cashier fraudulently added 3 microwaveable popcorn for no reason and when I politely tried to tell her to remove it from my order she was extremely rude and started telling me that PVR mandated it. Moreover, I did not receive a printed bill with my order and neither my number was taken (usually I receive an invoice in my message box) but nothing this time.
Also, I was made to pay to some unknown number and not an official QR code after telling me the card machine was out of order. Kindly check such behaviours from the staff and PVR Cinemas should provide a refund to those to whom such articles are being sold forcefully, or at least check such behaviours in the future. Terrible experience with PVR for the first time.
Is this something that happens with people here or has PVR started some new type of scam?

Yesterday I went to a restaurant cafe and they welcomed us but once I got inside they told us to scan the QR code. I was like okay and I tried scanning it but my phone was not working? Also I don’t have much data so I guess it wasn’t working but I’m really annoyed because how are these restaurants going to ask me to scan the QR codes when there is no free wifi or open wifi. I’m sorry but don’t expect a tip if I had to order everything myself. Also I asked if my mom could just order herself since my phone is about to die and I don’t think my mom knows how to use the phone properly (she is old) so yeah I’m really disliking this expectation of having to bring my phone everywhere I go to eat and the QR code rarely works when I go to restaurants. By the way I usually tip around 10-15 percent but my mom tipped 25 percent yesterday and I kinda felt like this restaurant did not deserve it but that’s all. I also find it unfair in how Canada people are paid minimum wage and we still have to tip on top of that? I don’t mind tipping at a restaurant where they actually take my order but if I have to scroll through the menu and have to figure everything myself then I would rather just leave the restaurant. Also the way I went to this restaurant and they kept telling me to scan the QR code was quite annoying. At least they provided the physical copies of the menu though.
