2023.06.04 19:22 darthgizm0 Rack mount brackets/screws for CRS112?
Hello all,
I know of someone who is located in Norway and looking to purchase the rack mount brackets and screws for a CRS112 device? Looking to see if someone is in or near Norway that may have these brackets and screws and willing to sell them?
A CRS112 is a 20cm wide switch so if you have a 20 cm wide device and not using the brackets and screws, you may be able to help.

2023.06.04 19:19 maniacal_monk Questions about rib racks
I have a classic 1, and with a grid extender I’m able to just barely fit 3 racks of ribs. I’m looking for a way to manage more than that and was wondering if Rib racks are worth it, if there are any issues that come with them (like maybe changing cookies g time or something like that) and if there is an off brand version that’ll fit a Kamado Joe classic 1.
Thanks in advance!

2023.06.04 19:13 comptr Help pick out Equipment for a dedicated home theater
Hi,
I am buying a new home and I have a space that I am using for a Dedicated Theater Room. The rooms size is 19' 7" x 15' 7" x 9' 0" (W x D x H) and I wired it as 7.4.6 and added an outlet for a project or and ran conduit from the projector to the av rack in the back of the room. I can't decide on what equipment to install. I am leaning towards a JVC nz-7, anthem avr, processer, and separate amps. I have a budget of around 12-13k for the speakers.
I plan to ensure I get the best speakers and Projector screen I can afford and is within my budget. I can spend up to 9k on the projector and 3.5k on the screen. I am somewhat flexible on the budget if there is something better that is not much more.
I know want in-wall speakers but for my side surrounds I have to have on-wall speakers due to on one side I have 2 windows and they are side by side so there is not enough room to install an in-wall speaker on that side. I included some images from the Audio Advice tool. I want to do 2 rows of seating with 3 seats in each row. I am currently researching and can wait for any sales to make sure I am getting the best deals.

2023.06.04 19:06 BrainTraumaParty Looking for storage options
Hey all, I’ve got a 2021 4D basesquatch soft top. I just had a second kid so i am going to lose the additional storage I get from folding down the seat.
I really don’t want to sell for a pickup, so I’m looking to see what y’all have done to add more storage.
I looked at the rear basket and potentially an aftermarket hard top and roof rack, but looking for any additional options.
Thanks!

2023.06.04 18:59 Aesculpus Speaker-microphones
Hi, all.
To those many of you who are carrying a marine VHF with you, do any of you use an external speaker-mic combination? If so, what is your experience with it?
Back story- I've had an HX870 for several years. Thinking of getting a newer model. In either case, I'm considering getting a speaker-mike. I've used one in the past for Amateur Radio when portable. Liked it. I can see both plusses and minuses in the kayak.
So I'm specifically looking for individual first-hand-anecdotal experiences and thoughts.
Cheers.

2023.06.04 18:48 getinlineporcupine M 30 Little Lonely, Trying to Figure out life and looking for someone special
Hello all!
I’m in a weird place in life. One of my best friends just had his first son. One is getting married in September. One just moved in with his long time girlfriend. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not looking for a romantic partner. I am aware that this isn’t the sub for things like that, but I just wanted to share some info about why I think I’m hyper fixated on my loneliness. I know there are other single people out there and I’m not alone but it doesn’t really help.
A little about me. I’m a full time student. I’m currently working full time during summer break. I decided last year to return to school as a 30 year old to study what I want and not what society or my parents deemed important. I’m from a small east coast town. I now live in the south. I enjoy pretty much all outdoor activities. I used to hike quite a bit and I owned a kayak for a few years. I also enjoy camping, natural trails/walks and swimming. I wouldn’t say I’m a movie buff but I’m pretty into movies. I’m a foodie. I love to travel and have been to 29 countries. I ride my bike often, I like to long board every now and then. I take great photos (but not a photographer) and I love long drives. I’ve been journaling quite a bit lately so I’m not opposed to writing letters.
I’ll save the rest for later. Shoot me a message if I sound like your type of guy. Im being pretty vulnerable thanks to being in this weird space. I just wanna meet someone that I’m excited to message when I wake up or excited to see a message from them. Just trying to figure this life thing out. Not trying to make this post seem pitiful. I promise I’m okay. nervous laughter

2023.06.04 18:39 ncpolitics1994 Does Collin and Denton counties trending right in 2022 mean anything for Texas in 2024?
Republicans outperformed their 2020 numbers in 2022 in the DFW suburban counties. Republican incumbents likely helped, but still, the Democrats still have a ways to go in Texas.
Abbott won Denton County by 12, and Collin County by 10. Even a scandal plagued Ken Paxton won Denton by 11 and Collin by 8. I realize these are statewide races and turnout was lower, but it suggests the Democrat trend in these areas may not be as fast as thought. For any shot at Blexas in 2024 you likely need at least Collin to flip. I could see Blexas in 2028, but I think Trump and Cruz are both favorites in Texas for 2024. I wouldn't even rule out Cruz doing better than he did in 2018.

2023.06.04 18:36 CrustyDumps 3.0 Kickstand Replacement
The kickstand on my step through 3.0 seems to be bent where the full base of the stand is not making contact with the ground. I use this bike for fishing and routinely have equipment loaded on the back rack. If the kickstand fails it would dump my gear into the water. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement, or even better, an upgrade?

2023.06.04 18:35 Lumpy-Function8615 25 years old, struggling to quit
Trying to get away from THC. It’s been over 4 years of vaping pretty much 24/7, to point where I easily go through a gram cart in less than a day. One year had medical card and was smoking very large amounts of flower in addition to that, also dabs, edibles, eventually making my own - always very potent. Point I’m trying to make is I have a HIGH tolerance. I could stop everything else easily but I cannot get away from the damn vape. I swear the nausea, shakiness, appetite issues, mood, insomnia, etc, is horrible when I’ve tried. & The cravings just would not go away it’s all I would think about when I didn’t have it. The anxiety I get when I run low or anything is crazy. I don’t even know what it is I crave because the carts have little effect on me especially now that I switched to delta8 from gas stations or vape shops cause it’s so much cheaper than med dispensary’s in PA. On another note, for 4 years I was also consistently smoking electronic cigs, elf bars, etc.. BUT was able to quit nicotine relatively easily about two months ago.
I think part of what I like or could I guess be addicted to with thc vape is the sharp feeling in throat when you inhale it then usually having to cough afterward. I have always taken long hits deep inhales, held it in, etc. of course causing a lot of coughing/crying spells. When I smoked e-cig I used the njoy and I loved the very sharp feeling it had when it hit back of throat but still it was much easier to stop.
Wanting to quit because mental health is finally getting better, I am stable on medication (have depression, severe anxiety, and was misdiagnosed as bipolar for years - recently diagnosed with autism/adhd) but when I stop the thc it sets me back mentally.. I’m also Tired of having to stress about piss since I let my medical card expire. The cost although I honestly buy the cheapest shit still racks up because of how much I use.
I have been trying to make healthier choices, the vaping has definitely caught up to me my blood pressures been through the roof out of the blue never had issues before. I know it’s mind over matter but idk I’m really struggling to break this.

2023.06.04 18:34 karsizzle Sister bay recommendations?
Hello! My boyfriend and I (both 25) will be visiting dc and staying in sister bay in mid August!
Any recommendations for best beaches, shops, bars/wineries, restaurants, supper clubs and general things to do?
We already plan to do a wine trolley tour and kayak at cave point park. I don’t mind going to other areas, although I’d rather avoid having to drive more than 30 minutes from Sister bay.
TYIA!

2023.06.04 18:30 Apart-Guitar1684 Does a cleaner need an ABN?
Hello all!
I have a friend who is currently working as a cleaner and they are over here on a student visa,
They were told that they needed an ABN for the job.
They work about 24 hours a week for a single employer for about 6 hours a day from Monday to Thursday
They get $28 an hour normally and a bit more if it’s a public Holiday, which obviously isn’t them negotiating with the contractee but simply that is how much they get.
Shouldn’t they be counted as an employee and not a contractor?
The person contracting it out provides the cleaning gear and my friend simply turns up and does the work.
My concern is that they are being exploited, they have no idea about BAS statements nor super contributions and I fear they will rack up a descent amount of tax owed which they might not quite understand when they need to lodge a tax return.
What would be the best way forward?
I understand getting a new job might be the best solution but easier said than done when they have limited English ability.
Thank you

2023.06.04 18:28 jon34560 CNC Tube Notcher stay/holders for home made plasma cutting machines.
Hi
We are making CNC Tube Notcher stay/holders for home made plasma cutting machines.
The stays hold metal tube or pipe centered so it can be placed and removed from a chuck that rotates as the torch moves back and forth along a rail to cut parts from the end.
The machines can be made in different lengths depending on available space, ours is twelve feet long so we cut twenty foot lengths of tube in half for the machine.
I would be happy to answer any questions about the notcher design and products we are making with it.
The stays we are making available are for placing along the length of tube so that the torch moves back and forth. The design was inspired by a reddit.com post by adoyle88. Some other designs are available with a moving chuck and a fixed cutting torch (example: Bend Tech - Dragon A250). I didn’t choose this design because I wanted a fixed footprint without having to keep an empty space open for the tubes to extend when cutting. An example part we cut is a vehicle C pillar that would extend eight feet past the end of that design.
CNC tube plasma cutting is great for a few different applications including notching joints between intersecting tubes, cutting complex patterns accurately on coping joints with tabs and slots in interlocking parts and marking bend marker locations for positioning cut tubes in benders at the correct locations.
The purpose of offering a stay holder as a product is that it solves a specific problem when building CNC plasma tube notcher builds which is loading and unloading tube and holding it centered for diameters between one inch through two and a half inches. The remaining parts needed are commonly available such as metal stock for a frame, ball bearings and angle bar for the sliding rail, plasma torch, chuck with stepper driver etc. The stay design evolved over two years and it will be a drop in part for people just wanting to get up to producing parts faster.
Our company has software available for modelling or importing existing models and generating cut GCode instructions that operate the machine. The software also can produce CNC bending GCode for our bending products or print PDF bend instructions for each of your parts for manually bending parts cut with the CNC notcher.
We are making a variety of producs with our notcher including tube frame vehicle chassis, replacement bumpers for off road vehicles, exhaust pie cuts, metal racks and i’m sure that there are many more possible uses.

- I have another paid internship this summer at Notre Dame but it will be based on an engineering lab
I’m mainly aiming for Notre Dame and Purdue. If I get into ND, I’m aiming for either biochem or engineering but if its Purdue, then I’m aiming for possibly biomedical engineering. But I would also appreciate any safeties/backups I would have a good chance in, especially if it's a Questbridge partner school. I'm not sure if my application is really competitive, but I would like to know if there's anything I can do to boost my application, esepcially for Notre Dame. I know I need to get my SAT score up, so I'm going to be studying the whole summer for that along with studying for the ACT. I'm also going to be volunteering at the hospital and doing more research at ND during the summer, so I wouldn't also mind if there was anything else I could do to boost the app ^^

2023.06.04 18:12 Cybernetic_Warrior55 Dealing with hardware in leg for SFAS and beyond
Greetings all,
For background, I'm a 25 year old Marine Reservist with a good bit of active time under his belt. I've been training for SFAS and Warrior Shit for a while now, but suffered a setback last year when I broke my tibia and fibula during sparring. I had a good surgeon who performed an ORIF on my leg and now I have a rod and two plates in me. Rehab went very well and I experienced no complications. I resumed weightlifting and swimming/running as soon as I was able to and am in better overall shape now than before I was injured.
My question is this: I have full ROM in both of my ankles, and the fracture itself is completely healed. The only indication I was ever injured are the scars, and some occasional stiffness in my knee which is becoming less frequent. As far as "normal" life and training goes, I'm %110. I'd like to keep it that way as I start racking up the mileage. If anyone who has experience conditioning an extremity that is titanium reinforced is willing to share any wisdom that would be greatly appreciated. There is a paucity of information about this; most of what I found dealt with ankle fractures not shins, which leads me to believe it's either a non-issue when the joints are unaffected, or there aren't many people who break their lower legs and get back into running/fighting.
Finally, since I know it will come up, I have accepted the fact that this may potentially be a nonstarter. I'll probably need a waiver, but it may not be granted. I may find out in the course that the injury I sustained actually physically prevents me reaching the standard, no matter what training I do. But I would rather become the best I can be and be told it's not good enough, than self select and give up now.
Appreciate your time. Shoutout TFVooDoo, I read your book and it was very helpful. I'll be coming up to Hoffman to train with you soon.
